Chapter 11

"Hey, (Y/n), did you happen to go somewhere last night? I got up to warm up some milk. Was gonna see if you wanted some but you weren't there" Grim asked as they made their way toward the school. "That's... Oddly kind of you Grim, but I didn't mean to alarm you of my absence. I just didn't feel like sleeping and decided to go on a stroll" (Y/n) explained with an apologetic smile.

"Ah..." Grim mumbled as he went silent, deciding to not press further on the matter. "But, I did run into this strange guy, he kind of reminded me of a goat, but he said he was a dragon" (Y/n) said as he rubbed his chin. "You shouldn't have talked to him at all. That guy is dangerous" Sukuna scolded his vessel. "Dangerous...?" (Y/n) mumbled with wide eyes, confused as to why the curse didn't tell him sooner.

"Well, did this stranger have a name? Maybe a uniform?" Grim asked curiously. "He told me to just give him one, and his uniform was green" (Y/n) informed, reaching into the cresses of his mind to remember everything. "To pick one for you...? Oh, let me pick it! Howsabout... 'Horton'!" Grim stated, a bit too excited. "Sorry, I already told him I'm calling him Goat" (Y/n) apologized, earning a disappointed whine from the creature.

"Fine, fine, but you said he wore a uniform, so Goat must be a student here. Who knows when we might run into him? If we do, introduce me!" Grim demanded while pointing a paw at him. "Actually, Sukuna doesn't want me going near him again, something about the guy being dangerous" (Y/n) informed as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"You think I care what he thinks? No amount of him scaring me will change my mind on him" Grim huffed with crossed arms. "(Y/n)! Mornin'!" Cater called as he jumped onto his back. "Morning, Cater" (Y/n) said as he slouched slightly to keep them both balanced. "Would you get off of him? He's clearly uncomfortable" Riddle scolded as he yanked Cater off of his crush.

"You're just jealous you didn't jump on him first" Cater retorted with a smirk. "I would do no such thing" Riddle scoffed as he glared at him. "Guys, guys, it's fine, really" (Y/n) assured, trying to stop them from fighting. "So... Where's Ace and Deuce?" Grim asked, looking around for the two troublemakers.

"Ah, they're feeling the flamingos today, it's part of rule 249" Riddle explained with his head held high. "I see..." (Y/n) mumbled, sweatdropping at the information. "By the way, it seems there was another incident last night" Riddle informed the two. "What?!" Grim and (Y/n) exclaimed in disbelief, after all, all the victims were supposed to be untouchable.

"Yeah... According to the portrait who witnessed it, the victim was a sophomore from Scarabia House" Cater said, the name ringing a bell in (Y/n)'s head. He's heard that name before somewhere, but he doesn't remember where. "The annoying kid who keeps telling you to visit his dorm" Sukuna piped in, earning a slight "ooooh" from his vessel.

"His name is Jamil Viper, it appears the accident happened in the kitchen" Cater explained to them. "Then we should go check up on him, right?" (Y/n) asked, a bit worried for the student. "Right, it is breakfast time, so he may be in the cafeteria" Riddle theorized. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" (Y/n) exclaimed as he raced forward, leading the way.

Once they arrived at the cafeteria, (Y/n) felt his body move unwillingly toward the food. "(Y/n), where are you going? Jamil isn't that way" Cater asked, confused. "I don't know! I'll just catch up to you guys later!" (Y/n) called back. "I bet you it's that weirdo's fault" Grim grumbled with crossed arms. "Weirdo...? Do you mean Sukuna?" Cater asked, causing Riddle to freeze in his spot.

"Please don't mention that guy's name, I still get nightmares about him" Riddle whispered as he gently held his own neck. "Better get used to it, that guy's a sucker for food and gives input when no one wants it," Grim said with an evident pout. "Well, we might as well talk to Jamil while we can, we'll fill (Y/n) in when he's done" Cater suggested to the group.
