When (Y/n) and Riddle were unconscious
(Y/n) shivered in the corner of Sukuna's innate domain, his face pressed to the boney wall as he shivered. "Red... So much red..." He muttered incoherently, too focused on his own misery to know where he was at. Sukuna looked down at (Y/n), pitifully as he knew he was reliving the bloody moments.
Where he failed to save those he cared about. He does not know what triggered this, but whatever happened, it's hitting the kid hard. The king stands from his throne and appears beside (Y/n). "They're all dead... all dead... It's my fault" (Y/n) muttered, not once moving from his spot. It's as if Sukuna were invisible to him. Sukuna kneels beside him and pats his head.
"Brat, you're mumbling," Sukuna said, trying to snap him out of it. (Y/n)'s eyes slowly looked up from the piller of bone, staring at Sukuna with a dead look, tears running freely down his face. "Leave me alone..." He mumbled before pressing the top of his head to the bone.
Sukuna frowns and wonders what to do. He rubs his chin thinking about what to do. He snaps his fingers as he gets an idea. The curse grabbed (Y/n) by his shirt, yanking him from the bone structure. Despite (Y/n)'s surprised yell, Sukuna warps them on top of the bone structure.
"Now, you're going to tell me what the hell brought you down to your knees in despair," Sukuna demanded. "Because that's my job." (Y/n) looked confused slowly turning his attention to the ground far below them, then to Sukuna. "Does it matter...?" (Y/n) asked meekly, wanting only to just curl up and suffer alone.
"I won't leave your ass alone until you tell me," Sukuna snapped as he picks him back up by his clothing. "So yes, it does matter, as much as I hate to admit it, it matters greatly to me." (Y/n) squirmed slightly before falling limp. "It's... Nothing, I'm fine" he mumbled a lie, as he looked at Sukuna's feet.
"You sure as hell don't look fine," Sukuna pointed out. (Y/n) sniffled back a booger that threatened to drop out of his nose, his eyes looking bloodshot. "I said it's nothing... Can you just not be a total jerk right now?" (Y/n) pleaded as he glanced up at Sukuna. "If being an ass means you can get rid of the snot-filled goop face and back to that normal goofy look you had, then I'll be an ass," Sukuna told him but put him down regardless.
"It's...! It's not that easy, Sukuna" (Y/n) reasoned as he tried whipping his face with his sleeves. "Then explain it to me brat," Sukuna demanded him. "Sukuna... It hasn't been a week and I'm already sent back into a battle. I left my friends back home to die and I'm over here... What? Picking flowers?" (Y/n) argued as he gripped his hair.
"I was... I was supposed to be there for Gojo-Sensei and save my home. Protect the people of the city. Only to be stuck here, in some half-assed school, like a school girl" he ranted as fresh tears flowed down his face. Sukuna thinks of what to say that's a bit... Nice? "And... How does that make you feel?" He asked, trying to act like a therapist.
"Absolute shit. I'm scared, that when I go back, there'll be nothing but a wasteland. It'll be my fault that it ended up that way" (Y/n) answered as he hugged himself. ".... Yeah rotting away while crying to yourself in here is not going to help anyone," Sukuna said, frowning. "Staying in a spot, all scared and whatnot could make things worse, so you need to get your ass up, take a breath, and get moving."
"You know... You're absolute shit at this whole comforting thing" (Y/n) muttered as he wipes away the fresh tears with his sleeves. "Yeah? Well someone needs to tell you that crying and sitting in a ball won't help. Maybe for a few minutes, you're also too focused on the negative and losing faith in all those you knew. You got some secret powers that show you the future?" Sukuna asked with a raised brow.
"N-No...?" (Y/n) muttered meekly, a bit confused. "Okay then, so there's a chance your old friends are still alive and kicking, maybe not all of them. But isn't that small glimmer of hope what keeps you humans going?" Sukuna asked as he walked around (Y/n).
"But... What if you're wrong? What do I do? How do I move forward?" (Y/n) asked worriedly. Sukuna glances at him and then looks upward. "You just have to move forward, life doesn't stop even when the entire world is on fire," he grumbles. "It's always the morning after and I know you, kid, you'll always have the strength to move forward."
"That's... Oddly comforting, thanks... Sukuna" (Y/n) muttered with a small wavering smile. Sukuna blinks, a bit disturbed (Y/n) is smiling at him. "Stop that, that's uncomfortable," he said, taking a step back. "Eh...? But all I did was thank you" (Y/n) questioned with a cute tilt of his head. "Anyway, are you feeling better? I ran out of those inspirational pep talks and my advice will only get shit from here," Sukuna grunts as he looks at the bones.
"Well... I don't think I'll ever feel 'better', but I think I can manage. Though... Is there a way to change the color of this place? I'm starting to hate the color red" (Y/n) said with a pout. Sukuna rolls his eyes but with a wave of his hand, the red color turns blue. "Don't blame me if you get some kind of weird feeling in your body," Sukuna said, walking to his throne.
"Wooaah! That was so cool! Wait, what do you mean weird feeling?!" (Y/n) asked, now concerned. "Don't worry, however, if your hands and feet go numb you should see a doctor," Sukuna hummed, smirking as he messed with (Y/n). "What?! Eek! I think I already feel it!" (Y/n) panicked as he patted down his body. Sukuna sits on his throne as he watches (Y/n) lose his mind over nothing. Well, at least he's somewhat back to his annoying self.
