It had been a week now, and so far (Y/n) had accomplished nothing. It's been months since he arrived, and his determination is waning. "Giving up already, brat?" Sukuna asked (Y/n). "A bit, yeah... It's been months and I haven't found anything about our world," (Y/n) grumbled as he laid his head on the book. "Speaking as someone who lived 1,000 years, answers don't magically appear or come directly, sometimes you just have to wait.," Sukuna answers with bitterness.
"I don't want to wait 1,000 years!" (Y/n) whined loudly. Sukuna rolls his eyes as he examines a skull in his domain. "I don't know why I bother trying to comfort you when you give me dumbass answers or whining," Sukuna mutters. "Sorry, I'm just, impatient," (Y/n) apologized as he propped his head on his hand. "I guess I did learn something though, about the mirrors," he said with a shrug.
"And what would that be?" Sukuna questioned. He's not sure if (Y/n) actually learned anything or if it's just a figment of his imagination. "So, the mirrors are like portals, like how that one mirror took us to the desert. So, I think the mirror in my room is also a portal somewhere," (Y/n) explained with a confident look. Sukuna leans into his hand and raises his brow. "Who gave you a brain?" Sukuna asked him.
"You know what?! I might just look at that stupid mirror again, just so you'd freak out about not reaching me," (Y/n) huffed, crossing his arms. "Sure do that and I won't save your life if another snake bastard tries to kill you," Sukuna said, annoyed. "You and I both know you'd still save my life," (Y/n) said with a smug look."Fuck you, you little shit," Sukuna grumbles, knowing (Y/n) is right.
"Speaking of that mirror, I'm curious to know what would happen if you stared into it," (Y/n) hummed, imagining the curse looking into the mirror only to have Gojo appear. The idea of the curse getting scared by his teacher made him chuckle. "I can see your thoughts, you little shit I'm not scared of that six-eyed rodent," Sukuna hissed in (Y/n)'s mind.
"So, you're saying if Gojo appeared out of a mirror, you wouldn't freak out?" (Y/n) asked, with a doubtful look. "No, because I don't fear anyone," Sukuna said, proudly. "Really? Well, what are you afraid of then?" (Y/n) asked curiously as he leaned back against the chair. Sukuna closes himself off to (Y/n), glaring at nothing in his domain. "Why do you wanna know? To use it against me?"
"And here I thought you trusted me more than that," (Y/n) huffed, looking annoyed. "I don't know, you barely listen to me when I tell you to leave people the fuck alone, so why should I open up more?" Sukuna asked. Though his words are harsh, that just shows (Y/n) how much it annoys and hurts Sukuna that (Y/n) barely trusts his advice.
"I do listen! I just..." (Y/n) trailed off as he looked down. No matter how hard (Y/n) tried to defend himself, he knew Sukuna brought up a good point. (Y/n) kept going against his words and what happened? He gets caught up in shitstorms and Sukuna has to keep cleaning up after him and saving his life. No wonder the curse doesn't feel like opening up to him, even closing himself from (Y/n).
"I'm sorry..." (Y/n) muttered as he slouched over, going back to reading books. He didn't have a right to pressure the curse into opening up to him. So he opted to just sit in awkward silence. Sukuna doesn't say anything, opting to take the time to cool down. "So, what's the plan for preserving food during the winter?" (Y/n) asked, deciding to change the subject.
"I say we kill animals and humans, skin them, and dry out their meat to preserve them for winter," Sukuna said, logically. "Ew! What? No! We are not skinning humans! See? This is why I don't trust you either because you say shit like that!" (Y/n) exclaimed, oblivious to the fact that anyone listening to their conversation just skittered away in fear. "You asked," Sukuna said, shrugging his shoulders.
"You know what, my fault, I shouldn't have asked. I should be figuring this out on my own. I've put you through enough shitstorms to last you another millennium, so I'll make use of my apology and be independent. And if I starve, then I starve," (Y/n) said confidently as he stood up. Sukuna doesn't say anything but he cannot wait to see how this will go. Will this brat succeed or will Sukuna have to bail him out again.?

(Y/n) stared at the cafeteria food in mild interest, debating which foods would last the longest. His dorm doesn't have a fridge and if the school shuts down he won't have access to the school fridge. Already he was looking at an issue, as all the foods were cooked and would go bad the next day.
"Hey, (Y/n), what are you doing?" Deuce asked curiously. "Huh? Oh, debating how I'll be getting food over the winter break. Remember, I can't exactly go home," (Y/n) reminded him. "That's right! Damn, I totally forgot. Shouldn't you talk to Headmage Crowly? He should have something planned, right?" Grim suggested.
"Good idea! I'll go find him now," (Y/n) said, ready to head off and search for the man. "Let us help you, he's this way," Deuce said as he gestured to (Y/n) to follow them. "Oh, thanks!" (Y/n) said with a pleased smile as he followed his two friends. When they arrived, they found multiple students waiting to be transported home. Up front, Dire Crowley is already clad in a tropical shirt.
"Remember your bags! If you have belongings that you don't want to lose, give them to transport!" Dire Crowley demanded the group of students. "Excuse me, Dire Crowley," (Y/n) called to the male. "Yes? What do you need?" Dire Crowley asked, a bit confused. "I wanted to know, do you have a plan to feed me?" (Y/n) asked with a hopeful look.
Dire Crowley looked at him with a blank look, clearly not understanding. "Did you seriously forget that (Y/n) is stuck here?" Grim asked, looking a bit disappointed in Dire Crowley. "No! Of course not! I totally have a plan!" Dire Crowley lied nervously. (Y/n) started to feel hopeless, as he was running low on options.
He doesn't know how to hunt, the cafeteria only has cooked food with zero ways to preserve it, and he has no money to buy fresh foods and still no way to preserve those too. Is he actually going to starve to death? Is this how he goes out? Not by a curse, but by lack of food. 'Will you stop freaking out, you're not starving while I'm here,' Sukuna scolded in his mind.
Like hell, he would let the brat die by starvation. "Well, what do you suggest? Don't say murdering humans and scavenging animals that probably aren't even around," (Y/n) asked softly, something the Dire Crowley and his friend are used to. 'Let me take over real quick,' Sukuna said in an innocent voice. "Uh, yeah, sure," (Y/n) quickly said, a bit startled but didn't want to question the curse again.
When Sukuna felt the familiar pull of his soul, he easily grasped the body before it could become too limp and fall over. Sukuna grabbed the prince by his shirt and yanked him close. "Listen here you old fart, you better have given (Y/n) the best service or I will tear this entire school apart and (Y/n) will not be able to stop me," Sukuna threatens. "And I will make sure I pull your organs one by one in front of your students and staff, making sure they witness your feeble demise."
Dire Crowley shakes a little at the threat and shakily nods his head. 'Damn, that even spooked me,' (Y/n) remarked, only a bit surprised by the animosity. "Now that we're on the same page," Sukuna said, ignoring (Y/n). "Seeing as you're nicely dressed up for a vacation, we'll take it."
'What?' (Y/n) and Dire Crowley exclaimed at the same time. "You can't do that, I've had that booked for months now!" Dire Crowley chuckled nervously. "So you can book a vacation and not plan out food for a student?" Grim asked with a look of disbelief. Sukuna turns his gaze from the friend and slowly looks at Dire Crowley with a glare. Even without a word, everyone can feel Sukuna's anger towards Dire Crowley.
"I- I had a plan," Dire Crowley meekly said, shrinking slightly. 'I wouldn't mind having a tropical vacation. But, we don't really have money over there either,' (Y/n) pointed out, a bit worried about being stranded again. "Give me your wallet," Sukuna said, looking at Dire Crowley, and holding out his hand.
"Excuse me?" Dire Crowley asked, not afraid enough to bend over that far and get robbed. Suddenly all the windows in the room formed slash marks before bursting into tiny pieces. Even the pillars in the room had multiple slash marks, some deep enough to warn Dire Crowley that Sukuna would bring this room to the ground.
Dire Crowley let out a yelp of fear as he quickly shuffled through his pockets and hastily pulled out his wallet. "Sweet, you got yourself a vacation. Hey, do you think you have room for a plus one?" Grim asked with a smirk. "No," Sukuna immediately denies, as he snatches the wallet.
