Chapter 9

Another morning in the strange world, with another day of not being able to figure out how to go home. After a while, (Y/n) had finally given up on relying on Crowley and instead went to the library in hopes of finding a way home. It helped that Sukuna is a fast reader.

"Myaaah!! Meeeooow!! Myah myaaah..." Grim cried as he flopped around on the floor. How he had gotten there was (Y/n)'s knowledge. "What is that awful screeching?!" Sukuna exclaimed in (Y/n)'s head, clearly annoyed from being woken up so abruptly. "It's Grim, I think he fell asleep in my room and is having a nightmare" (Y/n) informed as he looked down at the creature.

"Well tell that thing to shut up! Before I do!" Sukuna demanded, causing (Y/n)'s head to ache from his rage. "Alright, alright, no need to be so loud" (Y/n) complained with a roll of his eyes. "Myaaah... Thasss watchu get... Fer crossin' Grim da Miiightyyy..." Grim slurred before letting out a loud snore.

"Grim, wake up" (Y/n) coaks as he shakes the creature, attempting to stir him awake. "BWUAH-MYAH?!" Grim exclaimed as he jerked upward, accidentally hitting his head against (Y/n)'s chin. "Owww" they both cried as they cradled their injured spots before Grim whipped around and glared at (Y/n). "Don't chu know any personal space?! Eeesh" Grim complained as he rubbed his aching head.

"I was just trying to wake you, plus, this is my room" (Y/n) argued as he winced from the pain. "You ruined such a good dream, I was trouncing Riddle with my magic. You should've seen his face" Grim grumbled, looking irritated. "Of course, that only happens in your dreams" Sukuna mocked, as his mouth appeared on (Y/n)'s cheek.

"If I wanted an opinion, I would've asked a rock!" Grim growled as he glared at the mouth. (Y/n) let out a sigh, Grim just never learns. Whenever Sukuna is just a mouth on his skin, no one seems to be as bothered. But, when Sukuna takes over, it's as if they're walking on eggshells. They're lucky that (Y/n) made a pact, or else Sukuna would've erased the whole school.

"Look, if you're going to sleep, go sleep in your own room" (Y/n) grumbled with a visible pout. "I'm up, we got class anyhow, let me just fix my bedhead then we can take off," Grim said as he waved his paw. "Sure, just don't take too long, I don't want to be late to class again" (Y/n) advised as he watched Grim walk off to the bathroom.

The day proceeded as normal, (and Y/n) learned that he hated history more than ever. Especially when learning from an older dude, who talks about the history of a world (Y/n) isn't even from. But, Sukuna argues that it's essential to get to know the history of the area they're in, especially if they're going to be stuck in the new area for a while. Though the curse will secretly admit, the lectures are pretty boring.

"So... How were classes for you guys?" (Y/n) asked as he and his group of friends walked to the cafeteria. "Ugh, boring" Grim complained as he crossed his arms. "I'll say, I heard you both snoring in Mr. Trein's class," Deuce said as he looked at (Y/n) and Grim. "Can you blame us? His lectures are so long and slow" (Y/n) grumbled, crossing his arms as well.

"Well, I'm just hungry for some grub! Let's see what we have today" Ace chirped happily as he turned to look at the food product. Only to realize there was a massive crowd blocking their path to delicious food. "Eh? Why is there a crowd?" (Y/n) asked as he cutely tilted his head.

"The famous bakery from out of town is serving up their goods. It only happens once a month" a ghost answered, as they floated up to the group. "Their stock sells out fast, so you'd better hurry" the ghost advised before floating off. "Ah! Hurry guys! Before the food runs out!" (Y/n) proclaimed as he quickly rushed into the crowd, subconsciously shoving people aside as he got to the front of the crowd.

"Hey! Outta my way, losers!" Grim exclaimed as he easily snuck around the crowd's legs, arriving right next to (Y/n). He didn't pay much attention to the creature, focusing on grabbing food for himself and the greedy curse. "They both are two peas in a pod when it comes to food," Ace said as he let out a sigh, while Deuce looked alarmed.
