"Mi amor, what are you doing?"

I made my way into Alejandro's office in Los Vaqueros base. At the moment, there weren't many other people on base besides us and Rodolfo. Most of the men were in Las Almas, trying to help rebuild after the whole Shadow Company incident. Since it happened, Alejandro had been working harder than ever, trying to make it up to the people of the city.

Closing the door softly, I made my way towards him. When I got behind his desk, I wrapped my arms around Alejandro's shoulders. Resting my head on top of his, I mumbled, "You need to take a break. You've been working so hard for everyone else, let me just do something for you. I have something in mind if you're willing to humor me for a few minutes."

A sigh left his lips as he reached up and rubbed my arm. "Cariño, I really must do these reports. Maybe some other time, I promise."

"Alejandro, mi vida, I need you to hear what I am about to say. You have already done more than enough for Las Almas by yourself. Let us help you with this." I softly kissed the top of his head after I finished talking. I still held him gently as I continued, "And start by letting me take your mind off of things for just a little while."

It took a few minutes, but Alejandro finally chuckled. He moved around to be able to look up at me. He gave me a goofy smile as he asked, "What did I do to deserve a women like you in my life? Alright, what is it that you want to do with me? We are all alone after all, mi amor."

Finally letting go of him, I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I smiled while typing a few things in, looking up only to say, "Nice try but that is not happening right now. Stand up and just follow my lead."

He gave me a slightly confused look until the gentle music started to fill the office. Alejandro shook his head and said, "I am not dancing in my office right now. You know I don't dance."

"Which is why I plan on teaching you how. Besides, you already agreed so you can't take it back." I placed the phone down on his desk and held out my hand for him. I gave him a gentle smile and continued with, "I'll even lead so you don't have to worry about falling on your face."

Alejandro grabbed my hand while he scoffed, "I would not fall on my face for your information. I could dance if I chose to."

"I know you could darling, but I still plan on leading so you just relax. Now just put your hand on my shoulder and let me do the rest of the work."

With my hand rested firmly on his lower back, I slowly started to lead Alejandro in a simple two step. I held him close to me as I helped sway him back and forth in time with the song that was currently playing at the moment. I smiled gently, looking into his eyes to feel the warmth of his gaze. I laughed gently, breaking eye contact to look at our hands.

Alejandro kissed the top of my head before asking, "What is going through that head of yours now?"

Looking back into his eyes, I smiled. "I am just so happy to have you in my life. I'm glad that of all the people you could have chosen to be with, I'm the one that is dancing with you in your office right now. I must be one lucky guy for this to be my life."

"I am quite the catch." Alejandro laughed when I rolled my eyes at his comment. I leaned in, placing a kiss on his cheek before pulling away. He had a smirk on his face as he said, "I think you missed."

"Oh did I? Well in order to fix that, I think we need to do a little maneuvering. Let's see if you can handle it."

Before he could let the words sink in, I let go so I was only holding his hand. I took a small step back as I slowly twirled him around where he stood. He laughed as spun in place. Once he was facing me again, I brought him close to me as I put my arm around his lower back. As I started to lean him back, I whispered to him, "Just relax."

With that, I gently dipped him back while leaning towards him slightly. I chuckled at the slight look of panic Alejandro had as I guided him backwards. Halfway through dipping him, he finally took my advice and relaxed. I held him in place for a few moments before I leaned down to place a soft kiss on his lips. Pulling him back up, our lips stayed on one another for about a minute before finally pulling away. Looking into his eyes, I smiled at him with all the love I could muster at the moment.

He kissed the top of my head before muttering, "You are the light of my life, mi amor."

I rested my head on his shoulder as I held him closer to me. I laughed as I said, "And you are the one who I will always stand by. I love you, Alejandro."
