Leroy
"What happened? Why'd she storm out?" I asked Axe but all she did was huff with her head in her hands. "Don't tell me this was about Tim again?"
When she didn't answer me I felt a frustration in me build up. "What'd I tell you about that? Huh? I don't get you. Like why do you insist on treating yo own best friend like shit?"
She sighed, but still wasn't looking at me. "You don't know half of it Lee so just stay out of it."
"What the hell you mean stay out of it?"
She finally picked her head up, glaring at me. "I mean it's none of yo damn business so just stay out of it."
"I'm allowed to care about someone's wellbeing. Especially if they mean a lot to my sister. You really don't give a damn that your own homegirl just stormed out in tears?"
"I care a lot alright? Just some shit I said that came out all sorts of wrong. All I want is for her to see her worth and to stop letting that asshole ruin her life all over again. So don't accuse me of not caring."
"And what exactly did your approach to that accomplish besides driving her away, huh? Which I literally warned you about." I said, crossing my arms. "You wanna fight with me about treating you like a kid yet act so damn immature and don't see how yo bullshit affects people until it's too late."
Her glare intensified, almost boring a hole through my body as her jaw ticked at my words. Along somewhere her expression shifted slightly as it seemed a realization had sunk in.
"Yall are fucking huh? It's all making sense. You asking me that time about my friends and how you explode every time something about her comes up as if you even know half of it. But this whole time you've known cuz she must've told you right?" she said, mostly as a confirmation rather than a genuine question. Suddenly she rose. "Yall are huh?"
"How does that change my point, Axe? Huh?"
"Didn't I specifically tell your ass she's off limits??"
"Stop changing the subject!"
"Nah! All this shit is relevant. I told your ass she's off limits and stated why but you went and did it anyway."
"How is any of that relevant to you being a shitty ass friend??" I snapped back. "And for the record no, we're not. Not that it's any of your business since you seem to be forgetting we're grown ass adults who can do whatever the hell we want."
"I'll fucking tell your ass why it's relevant. I can see, you can see, she herself as well as everybody else and they mama can see she's not ready. And I told you that. But did you listen? Nah. Because you just can't stop clinging onto anything and anybody who makes you feel good so your ass don't gotta deal with your fucking daddy issues. You wanna talk about me not thinking about the way my actions affect people until it's too late?? Don't pretend you're any better than me. You treat everyone in your life like shit and always have. Helicoptering over me my whole life, using other people for issues you need to fucking work on with a professional. And I'm tired of all of it. I'm fucking done dealing with all of your shit."
"Well good cuz I'm done with your shit too. Imma be moving out so you don't gotta worry."
"And if you really claim to care about Ty you'll get that through your head and stop using her as a crutch." she added, yelling after me as I'd turned to head to my room.

Once again I was listening to and reading along with the audiobook of the Alchemist to help me forget the childish mess constantly walking on my damn nerves roaming around out there. It didn't help much even after I put the volume at maximum just to drown out the conversation from earlier. I tried calling and texting Ty but she didn't respond to me so I figured she just wanted to be left alone.
