Chapter 16

"Zai!"

Umabot na kami sa labas ng hotel pero hindi pa din siya tumigil. Muntik na namin kanina ma bangga ang malaking Christmas Tree dahil sa hila niya sakin.

Pilit kong piniglas ang kamay kong hawak hawak niya. Hindi ko na alam kung saan na kami napad pad. But the place were quite a lot of people right now especially the spot was quite festive. Surrounded with Christmas decorations and a huge Christmas tree on the center.

"Zai." Mahinahon kong sabi. "My feet were hurting already."

Huminto kami sa isang Alley kung saan walang tao. Parehos kaming hingingal dahil sa layo ng linakad namin.

"I'm sorry..." He said,

Hinila ko ang kamay niya para mapaharap siya sakin. But he didn't even budge. Tinawag ko siya ulit.

Unti unti siyang humarap sakin. "It's fine. It's normal to have that kind of reaction from your family—"

"Nonsense.They were saying nonsense."He sighed."I'm sorry okay... Koleen. I'm—"

"It's fine. Stop apologizing it's not your fault."

"No... It's not fine..." He closed the distance between us. "No matter how hard they try to push you away from me. I won't let it happen. No divorce that will happen."

Hindi ako nagsalita. I closed my eyes. Ramdam ko ang simoy ng lamig galing sa hininga niya. He let his head rest on my forehead.

In the middle of the Maiden's Alley admist the cold weather we are standing here together. Wanting to run away from the reality.

Am I falling?

The cold glaciers starts to fall down. Sumasabay sa pintig ng puso namin. It is beating slowly, but then it also were giving me some signs. But I don't mind.

Napatunganga ako sa kaniya. He just pinched my nose making me winced. Napaka walang hiya!

I was about to hit him when he suddenly grabbed my hand. He bought me a bottle of water. Mabilis ko iyon naubos dahil sa uhaw sa pag-takbo namin kanina.

We were walking while looking for something to buy, maraming mga stalls atsaka vendors and I was in awe in all of the things they were selling, good for souvenirs, decorations and many more.

"You should get something for your Aunts."

Tinunulungan niya akong maghanap para lang may mabili kina Auntie.

"Some souvenirs, decorations or keychains. What do you think?"

Napatango siya dahil sang-ayon sa mga desisyon ko. Maraming tao ngayon kaya mediyo nahirpan kaming dalawa bumili. We wanted to try Ice Skating kaso ang dami ng tao kaya dito nalang kami sa gilid napadpad.

We ended buying some scarfs, keychains,  and some cute things na magaganit talaga nila and that I surely know na magugustuhan nila Auntie.

We were both holding our hands together so despite the cold weather we are comfortable to roam around because of the warmth we are giving to each other. Pero habang nag-aantay sa inorder naming Hot Chocolate wala na siya sa tabi ko.

Napalinga linga ako. Saan nanaman kaya yon pumunta. Baka may babae namang humabol kaya hindi naman maka alis. Napa-irap naman ako sa naiisip.

"Your order."

"Thank you." Nagulat ako ng siya iyon ang kumuha ng order namin.

"Where have you been?"

He just winked at me then held my hand. Sumusunod lang ako habang lumalakad kami kung saan.
