Nothing is a scarier feeling than waking up and having no idea where you are. Up until this morning, I never had experienced that. The second I open my eyes and the sun shining through the windows hits my face I immediately sit up. I widen my eyes as I look around the room.

I spot a Nate sleep on the couch, only a couple of feet away from me. Taking a look around the room I know we aren't at his house nor mine. I think it's the Nicks game room I was in last night.

Last night.

From what I can remember, everything after talking to my sister was a blur. When her and I walked away I remember somehow finding more and more drinks and it all started to form together. I slightly recall running into Grant but nothing else after that either.

I swing my legs off of the couch and stand up to stretch. Once I stand I'm hit with a wave if nausea and a pounding headache. I then force myself to sit back down and close my eyes to a second.

"How do you feel?" I hear someone whisper. I look at the entry way and see Nick standing there, shirtless might I add, looking at me with a smirk. "Come on." He says, nodding his head outside the room. I quietly get up and follow him into the kitchen.

I take a seat at the kitchen island and he slides me a glass of water which I immediately take a big gulp of.

"Let me guess, first time drinking?" He asks, poring himself a glass now.

I roll my eyes, "was it that obvious?"

He shrugs and takes a sip. Not much of a talker I see.

"How bad was I?" I ask him.

"Do you mean the part where you made out with some guy or when you threw up in the bushes after? Oh and the fight that Nathan got into because of you."

My jaw drops. "Hold on what? I don't understand."

"What's not to understand?" He blankly asks.

I shake my head. "I made out with someone and Nate got in a fight?  Me?  Are you talking about my sister maybe?"

"Pretty sure it was you. I think it was some Grant kid, he's in a band." He nods his head. "He took you away said he was gonna take care of you or some shit then one of your friends found you guys making out. After she found you I guess you started throwing up so he just walked away."

After he tells me he story it all comes back to me and I'm reminded how much of an asshole Grant is.

"He came back into the party and found Nate, said some asshole things, then Nate swung and they got into a little bitch fight." He shrugs again.

"Oh my god." I mumble to myself.

Almost as if it's on cue Nate walks into the kitchen. His eyes are half closed as he rubs them with a yawn.

"Morning." He says in a deeper voice than usual. Nick and I both observe him as he finds a glass in the cabinet and fulls it with water. He then chugs the whole thing and proceeds to refill the glass.  He also hasn't looked at me once since he walked in the room.

"I'm gonna get my stuff and take Bria home. Do you need help with anything?"  He calmly asks Nick, who then looks around the kitchen and shrugs.

"Nah it's fine you guys go."

Nate puts his cup in the sink and leaves the kitchen. Not once did he speak or look at me.  I look over at Nick who once again, shrugs. I then groan and follow Nate into the other room to see him gathering his shoes and folding the blankets we both separately slept with.

Finally, he turns to me.  His eyes look tired.

Probably because he got no sleep taking care of you dumbass. I remind myself.

"Ready?"  He says.

"Yeah, Yeah lets go."

We both start to head out and Nate yells a final goodbye to Nick. We silently walk to the car as he unlocks it, except this time he goes to the passenger side and opens the door. I awkwardly stand outside the door looking at him.  He looks at me, then at the seat, then back at me, with a confused face.

"Uh thanks." I say as I sit down. He closes the door behind me and walks around before getting in and starting the car.

The drive to my house is silent, neither of us bothering to speak or mess with the awkward silence we've created. Once we arrive he parks and car and looks straight forward at the street.

"Nick kinda told me about last night."  I look down at my hands. "So uh thank you."

I look back up to see him finally looking up at me, this time with a look of pity. "Why did you kiss him." The face of pity has now turned into a small frown.

I sigh. "To be honest Nate, I don't know.  I was really into Grant a couple of months ago but I've been over it for awhile now. I don't remember most of last night and I almost didn't even believe Nick when he told me. Im guessing I just wanted to make out with someone."

"I should have been the first person you found if you wanted to make out with someone." He replies.

I stare at him.

"What?" I ask, mostly in shock.

"I'm just saying if you wanted to make out with someone, why did you pick that asshole."  He's clearly frustrated about this and I'm not sure why.

"Well I'm sorry I didn't know you were an option?" I reply back with the same tone.

He just sighs at me. "You should go inside."  I sit there and blink at him before replying with a quiet "okay".

"Thanks for the ride."  I say before closing the door behind me. He sits and waits for me to make it to the door, like he always does.  Except this time when I make it inside I peak out the window and see him still sitting there, staring at the front door. Eventually after a couple of minutes he puts the car in drive and leaves, so I head to my room.

Unfortunately, I'm stopped by a freshly showered, angry Bailey.

"We need to talk."

Shit.
