Never in theater star Bria Walkers life did she think her senior year she'd become friends with one of her twin sister, Bailey Walkers, friends. Especially basketball star Nathaniel Evans, but when he wonders into her room during a party something...

Being done with Theater after four years of nonstop plays and musicals feels, different. I have all this free time and suddenly nothing to do with it.
Luckily, I managed to keep straight A's so I'm basically maintaining them until school gets out. Same thing goes for Avery so we've been spending most of our time together.
Nathan on the other hand is struggling. After school he has basketball, then goes home and either does homework or sleeps. Since the tutoring started Nate has managed to have B's and C's, and even an A in one class. He won't let me see his grades tho and he doesn't talk about who's in his class most of the time or other ways he can or has improved. But I do have to say I miss his presence more than I thought I would though.
Practices are now a solid 2-3 hours everyday for him, so while I gained free time he lost it.
It's been a week since opening night and looking back on it makes me sad. Tonight I thought about staying home and watching movies with Avery until Nathan texted me around 5 asking me what my plans were before I could text Avery and ask.
Gorgeous Man I Tutor: wanna go out tonight?
Bria: to where.
Gorgeous Man I Tutor: Nicks
Bria: Nick as in your best friend?
Gorgeous Man I Tutor: yep
Bria: pass.
Next thing I know my phone is buzzing and I'm getting a call from Gorgeous Man I Tutor.
"Why not." He asks.
"What even is it."
"Just a little kickback before playoffs." He mumbles.
"No offense Nate but that sounds like torture." I reply back to him, knowing damn well it's more than a "kickback".
"Come on Walker. I'm sober and driving all night, I'll take care of you." He argues.
"I've never even drank before." I admit.
"Tonight is a good night if you want to try it out, not saying you have to. But look B, it's actually gonna be small. Nicks parents are out of town but the team can't risk getting in trouble, plus we all have to drug and alcohol test on Monday. It's the team and their plus ones, why don't you think about it and call me back in an hour or something."
"If I find out your lying Nathan I'm going to be livid with you." I remind him.
"Can't wait." He replies, I feel stupid grin he's doing on the other side of the call.
"I'll text you in 30. Bye." I hang up.
Conclusion I've come to: Never EVER trust Nathaniel Evans.
