-"Buck are you being serious right now, You called my dad" pissed was an understatement I was fuming. I understood why Buck called my Dad but he brought Athena which I also understand. I don't even know anymore, I feel like I am losing my mind, it was like I couldn't regulate myself because I was too scared of my surroundings and someone's phone going off. I knew questions were going to be asked, I just had to lie well enough in front of Athena for them all to believe me.
"I had to Brea, you haven't been yourself lately. I don't know who I'm talking to anymore."
"What Buck is trying to say" Athena shot a death glare at Buck. "is that we are just concerned about you and we want you to talk to us," I said nothing and just stared at the floor not daring to look any of them in the face.
Bobby started to talk when they realised I wasn't going to say anything. "Sweetie this isn't the first time you have been acting differently"
"Oh my God, nothing is going on." I scoffed emphasizing 'Nothing'
"Then what happened last night" Buck came off argumentative, I haven't seen this side of him since Eddie started at the station. "Brea you were going to walk out onto the balcony with a bat!"
"I thought someone was in the house!" I raised my voice throwing my hands up in the air
"There had been any sign of forced entry, no one had been in the house Brea" Athena said putting a hand on my leg. "I don't want to ask but... has something happened with Jackson?"
"No!" I stood up from my and started pacing the room. "I heard a noise so I went to inspect it, that's all it was I was probably tired and imagining things, there is nothing to worry about."
"I don't believe that sweetie" Bobby stood up and walked over to me putting both hands on my shoulder to stop my pacing. "What is going on?"
"I've already told Dad!" I pushed his hands off me and grabbed my coat. "you know what I'm going"

Since that talk a few days ago I've only been talking to my Dad or Buck if it's work-related, other than that I've been silent. Athena knew not to push anything, but I knew she knew I was lying but I wasn't going to admit that. I've been trying to act less jumpy and calmer but it is really hard and I feel like I am at my breaking point, like I'm going to explode any minute.
The atmosphere has been awkward for everyone however we are making it work. Our first call of the day was to a bank for two victims who were seizing and foaming from the mouth
"Airway's clear. No MedicAlert bracelet. Jaws not clenched. Tongue is neutral." Chim said after checking the courier's vitals.
"All right. Get him started on O2. Ten litres." Bobby instructed
"You said there's a second patient?" I said, to which the woman lead us to a bank working on the floor in the vault seizing and foaming.
"Same as the courier out front. Exhibiting extreme muscle spasms. Cap, pupils are dilated." Hen said checking the bank manager
Bobby sighed watching Hen check the man. "I don't know what we're looking at here."
"Could be a nerve agent." Eddie chipped in noticing the signs.
"You've seen that before?"
"I've been trained for it. Symptoms all line up. The fact that we have multiple people down. I can't say for sure until we run some tests."
"All right, Hen, Brea. Back away." Bobby said before exiting to vault to the rest of the team. "Everybody, stop what you're doing right now. Chimney, Buck. Step away. Step away. I need everybody's attention. We are now preparing for a possible chemical exposure incident. That means nobody in, nobody out." As he finished talking the vault began to close and Hen ran towards it.
