After the events of yesterday, I got a good scolding from my dad, he was so pissed that I had been drinking even though he wasn't showing it. As much as I hate to say it I've only had one terrible run-in with alcohol and that wasn't going to happen ever again well at least I hoped, so I don't understand why he's worried so much because I'm not a recovering addict like him, I had nothing to lose, yes I tried to refrain from drinking excessively but that's not going to stop me enjoying my time and listening to myself say that I feel like a horrible daughter.

"I'm sorry okay I don't know how many times you want me to say it!" she exasperated

"I thought I was going to find you again brea!" he cried out "We had no contact with you, I didn't want you doing what you did last time"

"You know I had a reason for that last year, so don't think it's ok for you to bring it up!" screaming at her Dad, as all the memories come rushing back through her head as she stares at her father in disbelief.

"all because you had a reason didn't mean you had to do it, you didn't think about anyone else"

"Well, I'm so fucking sorry Robert that I wanted to escape him and everyone else" With that she slammed her bedroom door collapsing down it trying to hold the sobs in with her hands.

The 118 were on their way to a call where the ceiling had collapsed while wedding guests were dancing. There were multiple fire teams and police at the scene, and we all knew it was going to be more casualties than rescues. As we walked into the building we stared up at the massive hole where two stories had once been, taking in all the wires and debris that was dangling and falling down.

"16 DOA so far" Buck stated "mostly blunt trauma to the head or crushed by the debris."

Captain Nash walked straight past the young man standing straight in the middle of the disaster "They fell through two stories, I won't be surprised if that number goes higher."

"Cap the groom is devastated, his bride hasn't been accounted for," Hen says pushing her way through

"well find her....Buck and Brea I need you to go up top, access to the second floor is blocked we're gonna have to tackle this from both sides"

"copy cap," the two blonds said

"Sativa, Sativa" the groom yelled attempting to move the ruble.

"sir step back if she's in there we will get her out but you have to let us do our jobs" Cap said with a hint of anger in his voice.

Hen held the Indian man back trying to comfort him as much as she could while also trying to look over his bleeding head. Buck and Brea had harnessed themselves each to a different white pillar and started to slowly lower themselves down unknown if the structure would be stable enough.

"Help" a man groaned as he was laid wedged between thick chunks of the rubble

"Hey I got you," the blond male said

"my leg I think it's broken" he hissed in pain

"Okay don't worry we got you okay" Brea gave him a reassuring nod.

The partners in crime had successfully got the man out without causing any more injuries and repelled him down alongside them giving them to the paramedics before they hit the ground.
