"Buck we're losing" I said jumping trying to make him understand my hand signals.

"Learn how to play then" He sighed before jumping back up. "Dolphin!"

"Time," Maddie said laughing

Buck and I were with Maddie and Chim at Maddie's playing charades. Clearly, we weren't as good as Maddie and Chimney because they beat us every time. I don't understand it's not hard to understand the hands you have to focus and be in to win it, which Buck isn't even though he is just as competitive as Maddie. We all thought it would be a good idea to blow off some steam since what has happened lately, Bobby's investigation has not been finalised yet so we are still stuck with interim Captain Han, no offence to Chim but he is awful he has let the authority go to his head and it just sucks to be there right now.

"Another beer?" Chim asked, me and Maddie nodded while Buck followed Chim into the kitchen.

"So how has it been?" Maddie asked turning to me

I knew her and Chimney were a thing but I was not going to lie and sing his praises. "Horribly. I love Chimney, I do however he has gone too power crazy, trying to implement new rules and not to mention he nearly burnt the kitchen down" Before Maddie could get a word in I kept talking. "We all preferred him before, he was great company and we could have fun but now it's like we are in this attemptive strict camp and it's draining"

"Wow... um, I thought Buck was overexaggerating, but obviously not" She sighed not knowing how to feel at the sudden comment of her 'boyfriend'?

"I'm sorry Mad's, he is a really great paramedic and firefighter, I just don't think Captain is for him in the future yes but as of right now no."

I did genuinely feel bad saying these things about Chimney, especially to someone who cares about him as much as Maddie, yet it isn't just me who has been feeling like this and Maddie is the only person who can talk some sense into him. Like Hen his best friend can't be bothered anymore, we all know he has the ability to be a great captain but he needs to learn more qualities of a captain. It's obvious he wants to be like Bobby while also implementing his own things but because he is trying so hard to be like our Captain he is failing and as the family that we all are we don't want to see anybody fail.

"Babe, have you seen my top?" Buck said walking to the top of the stairs

"It's on the kitchen counter"

When we got home last night after Maddie's, we agreed that we didn't relieve as much tension as we wanted and the only way to get rid of it was lots of hot and sweaty sex. Multiple rounds later we were both passed out tangled up in each other, it wasn't until I felt something wet on my face I woke up to see Odie on the bed going between Buck and me licking us. Odie knew our morning routine better than we did so there was a reason for him to be waking us up.

"Last night was great," Buck said sailing his arms around me kissing my neck

"No, we have to get to work" I turned around looking at him as I'm putting my hair in a slick pony. "And yes last night was great" Once my hair is done, I grab my bag, keys and coffee and head out to start the car. "Coffee's on the table hurry up!"

we were already late and knew we would be having a lovely with interim Captain Han. I have no clue how we snook in unnoticed but for some reason when we came out of the locker room, everyone was lined up. This will be another one of Han's stupid new rules

"So we doing lineup now," Buck said as Chim walked towards them all with sunglasses on looking all smug

"Stow it, Buckley" Chim said removing his glasses looking intensely at everyone
