GRAYSON

"I just touched down, Ivan should be here soon too" my father says over the phone.

"Good, it's about time we've had a chat" I'm walking on the plane getting ready to fly to Germany.

"If it's really been him behind all this, what are you thinking to do?" He asks and I sit down in my seat in front of Cole whose working on his laptop getting the security ready for our hotel rooms.

"You know what I would want to do, but the will doesn't let me" I say and glance at Kate whose carelessly looking out the window and listening to Malika talk.

"He's family Gray" my father says.

"He hasn't been one to me for a long time" I say and the pilot walks on giving me a head shake letting me know we're ready for take off.

"I'll support you on whatever you decide son, Kate is now in our family too, and whatever you say goes" my father says and with a long pause I say goodbye and end the call just as the plane starts to take off.

"Found anything?" I'm looking at Cole he lifts up his head and leans back in his chair.

"Yes, the guy used to work at a hotel in Portugal and then only a year ago moved to London and started doing all sorts of dirty work" Cole says.

"And security wise, we're all set, there's cameras everywhere, you won't be able to go in without personal ID and guards placed everywhere on the floor" he continues on.

"Good" I say and place down my phone. "What did he do in Portugal?"

"Just work I guess, he was a servant for people who went on vacations there" he turned his laptop screen toward me showing me the info of the man I shot in our house in London.

"And he was the one who wrote the note?" I ask.

"I don't know, handwriting is hard to track, but the guys are still looking into it and comparing it to every suspect" Cole says.

"Which are pretty much anyone" I let out a sigh.

"I mean yes, but the only one who would have reasonable reasons to go after Kate is Ivan" Cole says "without her the will is void"

"And the contract only protects you and him, it doesn't say anything about Kate" Cole says and that just makes me more angrier by the whole situation.

"Don't you think I know that?" I squeeze the bridge if my nose "until we get of the bottom of this you know what to do"

Cole shakes his head and takes the laptop and goes back to work. From now on there's gonna be guards everywhere, outside the house and inside, in every room, cameras everywhere, Kate won't go anywhere alone, because God forbid something happens to her.

We've headed to Germany right now, only for two days but after that I'm planing on going to New York for a week, I need to work, I need to do something about this.

I've convinced my father and Ivan come to Germany, we'll meet and have a nice little chat. And from here where I know where he is it'll be easier to keep an eye on Ivan.

If he's behind all this, then he better start praying now that this family blood still means something or otherwise he'll be buried next week. And I don't care if it kills me to kill him.

My eyes subconsciously move to Kate where she looks at me and gives me a gentle smile. The one that makes my insides twist and makes me want to kill every man on this earth that might be danger to her, even myself. And those big green eyes that never loose their sparkle and are always so full of true emotion.
