KATE

"And this was given to us by the princess Kali" the lady is showing us a porcelain plate with gold drawing on it.

"It is beautiful" I say as she stands by the glass box where the place is nicely tucked away from everyone to see for no one to touch.

"It is, isn't it?" She says and smiles a bright smile, and it makes me happy to see someone so interested and passionate about something. You can tell she really loves this museum. And it is truly beautiful.

It's been closed down for my and Graysons visit todays for security reasons but I can tell many people come here when it's open.

"And this painting, it was actually drawn at one of your grandfathers houses I think" she says and looks at Grayson who's been by my side all this time quietly listening.

"Yes, this is the view from his vacation home in Norway" Grayson says "me and Bella used to make bets on who would make it first to that apple tree" he says and points at the one lonely apple tree between the mountains.

The lady is listening her eyes bright from this information, it's like his story is giving a new meaning to the painting in front of us and I guess in some ways it is.

We walk by every piece that's put on viewing here and she tells us the story about each item and as it's getting to the end I'm overcome by this consuming tiredness. All I want to do is sit down or maybe even lay down. It might be the jetlag, we have been travelling a lot and last night I didn't get much sleep.

And I feel bad as I'm getting distracted and shifting from one leg to another. She's not boring, not at all I'm just tired and I want to get back to the hotel room and take a nap.

"And I think that's about it" she says as we're finally reached the last piece of the museum and she smiles proudly at us.

"It was very interesting Linda, thank you" I say as she has finished her tour.

"I'm glad you liked it" she says and then leads us outside in the little garden where there's a little table set with desert, overlooking the garden.

"Mr.Chernoff said you'd love this view and asked for us to set up a little meal here" she says with a smile and looks between me and him and I look at him too.

"I'll go make some coffee" she says and disappears inside.

Grayson gestures to the small table and I walk over, he pulls the chair out for me and I sit down.

"You set this up?" I'm asking him as he sits down and I'm trying hard to hide my smile.

"I knew it would be long, and you'd be hungry" he says and I look at all the little cakes placed on the table.

"Thank you" I say "it's really sweet" I say and grab his hand across the table and he rubs his thumb on my hand.

"Here's coffee" she says and brings us two cups and I thank her as she rushes back inside after turning down my invitation for her to join us.

"It is very beautiful here" I say and look over the nice garden. "Why was this museum important to your grandfather?" I ask curious.

"My grandma loved it here, they used to come out here every year, I'm not sure why, but it was important to my grandfather, he kept coming even after my grandma passed away" he says and I enjoy it so much when he tells me about his past.

"How was your grandmother?" I ask.

"She was like a second mom to me, we used to spend every summer with my grandparents and she took care of us then, she used to scold me a lot but I know now that it was for the better" he says and I laugh.
