Chapter 07 - Legendary Creature

Ohm's POV

I leaned closer, and closer, and.... suddenly, one butterfly landed on his nose. We got surprised. "Ohm, catch him." Nanon ordered. I got mad. "Stupid fucking creature, ruining our beautiful moment. Come here you bitch, I'm going to fucking catch you, and then I'm going to fry you." I started chasing him. He flew and flew, left and right, but not really leaving the area, just mocking me, daring me to catch him. Oh, this is so on. 

Nanon's POV

I watched as Ohm chased the butterfly. I blushed so hard. He really did lean forward to kiss me, right? Does that mean he really like me like that? I snapped out of my daydream. I prepared the cage, in case Ohm got the butterfly. Suddenly, another butterfly flew around me. I didn't have a net, so I kinda just let him go. And, it suddenly flew towards the cage and entered it like it was no big deal. I got confused for a second, but immediately closed the cage so it won't run away. I observed it. This butterfly is bigger than the average butterfly, and has a tri-colors pattern. Wait, three? They usually has one or two colors. I looked at it closely. Yep, it has three colors, dusty pink, midnight blue, and stripes of electric green. Weird. 

Ohm came back few minutes later, drenched in sweat. I looked at the net. "I... I... caught... him..." he said, trying to catch his breath. I laughed. "You.. you... all you do.. was sit..." he tried to complain. "Open.. the damn.. cage.." I opened the cage and he put it in. I observed the new one. This one is also bigger, and has tri-colors too. Different shape of wings, different colors, but tri-colors. This one has tomato red, army green, and yellow stripes. "Ohm, don't you think it's weird? These two has three colors instead of two." I showed him. "Hmm, who cares. All I know is that we already caught ten different butterflies, so.. mission accomplished." He threw his fist on the air. Yep, that's Ohm, he doesn't like to think too much. We put the cover over the cage and went back to my dorm. We stood in front of the gate. "Ohm, it was nice doing the assignment with you." I started to go in. "Nanon... I..." he stopped me. I turned around. "I... I..." he stuttered. He took a deep breath. "Never mind. I'll tell you tomorrow after we got the first place." He offered his fist and I bumped it. We are so going to crush it.

The Next Day...

Tomorrow came, and we have our presentation today.

"Okay, class, before we begin, I'm going to tell you the scoring system. For every common butterfly, you're gonna get 1 point. For every uncommon ones, you're gonna get 5 points. Now, for the common rare ones, you're gonna get 10 points. For super rare, you're gonna get 20 points. And last, for ultra rare, I'm going to give you 30 points." Mr.Arm wrote on the board. "Now, to pass the assignment, all you need is 60 points. Easy, right? But..." he paused for a second. "Since the assignment is to bring 10 different type of butterflies, the ones who brought less than 10 types, or the ones that brought 10 but has the same type, they're immediately failed the task." I looked around, and some of them started to pale.

"Now, let's talk prizes and punishments. The ones who failed the task, please line up on this side." He waved his left hand. A lot of students walked to that side of the class. Only five pairs left on this side. "Interesting. The remaining ones, Ohm-Nanon, Mix-Sea, Love-Prim, Jane-Chize, Drake-Frank, almost all them are leaders or right hand man of their houses." He clapped. "Now, this is a very good example of why they're worthy of their titles. You guys have to follow in their steps." Honestly, I'm so proud when he said that. He turned to the failed ones. "Don't worry guys, the punishment, it won't be the easy one." He smirked. "Now, let's begin the presentation. First pairing, Drake-Frank." They went to the front of the class and started the presentation, followed by the other pairings. In the end, Drake-Frank got 150 points, Love-Prim got 160 points, Jane-Chize got 170 points, and Mix-Sea led the competition with 280 points.
