Chapter Z-03 - TayNew - Truly Mine

New's POV

Few Weeks Later...

Okay, this is bad. Well, not exactly bad, just... my feeling grew bigger and stronger everyday. After that first night of hooking up, we hooked up a few more times. We promised each other to keep our hands to ourselves, but that promise flew out the window once we were alone together. I asked him to come to my apartment to 'help with work', and we ended up naked in my bed again. Another time, he said he needed my help 'studying' and we ended up naked on the sofa. We talked on the phone almost every nights. We also texted each other everyday and every nights. Sometimes, when I had nothing to do, I read his chats over and over again and ended up giggling so hard. So, this is what it feels like to fall in love. 

He told me about his problem, how he lost his house because there were only three members left including him, and according to the academy, you need at least five members if you want to keep the house. But this rule does not apply for the Grey House, since they always lost their members if suddenly they got their power activated. Now back to Tay. I really wanted to help him, but I can't, and he won't let me. He ended up moving to the Grey House, and losing his Leadership to Nanon. "I'm still a leader, but not a house leader. So I have to obey the Grey House's rules." is what he said. Too bad though, because he told me he loved being a house leader, organizing things, and stuffs. Is there anything I can do to help him? Maybe I should buy him a new house? In the end I decided not to. Buying someone a house is a really strong gesture. I don't want to come on too strong. 

Tay's POV

It's been a few weeks since the Pinks moved to the Grey House. And I said it's going well so far. The Greys are kind and accepting. Nanon, and Bank, and the others treated us nicely. I came home from my internship one evening, and found something different with the House sign. It was supposed to say "The Grey House". But now, they upgraded it to "The Grey House. And also some pinks too." They wrote the new writing in pink. Okay, I have to admit that's so cute. I took a picture of the sign, and posted it online. One person liked my photo immediately. I checked, and it was New. I smiled so hard. He really liked my photo seconds after I posted it. My phone chimmed, and it was him DMing me. "Nice sign." He complimented me in my DM. "Are you my stalker?" I wrote back. He responded with 😂 emoji. Honestly, my day just got a lot better. New just made a social media account, and I was the first person he followed. He also followed Ohm and Nanon, and the rest of his family. New really tried to fix his relationship with Ohm, and Ohm responded well. They're still a little bit awkward around each other, but it's a start, a good one. 

One Saturday, I was feeling brave, and I asked him to have dinner with me. He said yes. And here we are, having dinner at a nice restaurant. "No, you didn't." He told me a story from when he was a teenager. "Yes, I totally did." We laughed. He told me a story about how he pranked his best friend. His best friend had a crush on Pluem, his middle brother, and he showed him a photo of shirtless Pluem in a pool. "It backfired so bad when dad accidently saw the photo, and started asking me questions about why I kept my brother's shirtless photo in my phone." He laughed. "I told him that Toy, that's my best friend's name, asked me to take a photo of Pluem. Dad was so mad, and confronted Toy about it." He confessed. "Okay, now I'm curious, what happened next?" I asked. "They dated for a brief period, but had to break up because Toy was moving abroad." He sighed. "I remember how heart broken Pluem was when Toy moved to Seoul to study. It broke my brother's heart into million pieces. He won't come out from his room for days. Everyone was so worried." He frowned. "It was for the best, though. Toy is a normal human, not a power one." He explained. I nodded. I totally know what he meant. We don't want to accidently expose our secret to human.
