Chapter 20 - Sorry, Who?

Ohm's POV

It was a week after the whole p'Janhae fiasco. We resumed our study, and our life, just like nothing happened. P'Earth got discharged from the hospital days ago, but he still needs a lot of rest, so now, Drake and p'Nonkul temporarily filled in for him. P'Earth sometimes still came to the meeting though, along with p'Nonkul, teaching him to be the next leader. P'Namtan has a new right hand man. P'Namtan chose Josh to be her right hand man. We objected at first, because he's just a new student, but he proved to us that he's capable. The situation is also still a little bit awkward between me and Nanon, because I drugged him. He said he's not mad anymore, but deep down, I know he's still disappointed in me. This also stained his friendship with Mix.  I remembered their conversation in our meeting.

"Nanon, I'm so sorry." Mix apologized to Nanon. "Sorry? You're sorry? You drugged me, and now you're sorry? That's a very easy thing to say, isn't it?" Nanon got mad. "Ohm asked me to." He defended himself. "Ooh, Ohm asked you to. So, if Ohm asked you to go fuck yourself, are you going to do it?" Nanon fumed. Mix didn't answer. "ANSWER ME." He shouted. "Well.. no, I guess..." he looked guilty. "Nanon, please calm down. Take a deep breath. What's done is done. There's nothing you can do about it." P'Earth tried to calm him down. "No, I won't calm down. I'm the victim here. I'm allowed to get angry. And everyone said I have to forgive him like he did nothing wrong. No. I don't want to. And now, I turned to be the bad guy. The asshole who won't forgive someone eventhough he apologized. Well, in my term, that's not how it works. I don't care if you guys think I'm the bad guy. I'm the victim, and I know it." Nanon was so mad. "But, you can forgive Ohm, eventhough he was the mastermind. Why can't you forgive me?"  Mix put the logic into the situation. "In a way, he's right. He's just the messenger, and Ohm is the mastermind. So, why can't you forgive him?" P'Earth defended him again. "P'Earth, you're my cousin. You're supposed to stand up for me, not this traitor." Okay, this is getting out of hand. I looked at p'Namtan. She looked at me and nodded. "Okay, how about this. You can punish Mix, that way we can call it even. Come on, we are all friends here. Don't let one stupid mistake ruin everything." P'Namtan suggested. Nanon thought for a second. "That's actually a great suggestion." He nodded. "So, how do I punish him? Well, I can't make you drink your own poison. I assumed you're immune to it. And I can't slap you eventhough I really want to. Hmm.. so.." he thought for a second.. I'll give you two options. One, you do two hundreds push up and two hundreds sits up, or  you clean my house for a week?" Nanon suggested. Mix thought for a second. "Okay, fine. I'll do the cleaning for a week. And I promise I won't drug you again." They shook hands. 

At least they're on a good term right now, which is a very good start, I guess.

One evening, I don't know why, but I decided to dig my own grave. We were cuddling on his bed, and I decided to open my damn mouth. "Nanon..." I started. "Hmm?" He answered. "I really want to know. You forgave me, but you can't forgive Mix, why is that?" I asked. He didn't answer. I stroked his nape. "You wanna know the truth?" He suddenly said. I nodded. "I'm still mad at you too. It really sucks, what you did. You were supposed to be the one person I trust the most, along with my dad, my mom, and Fourth, people who won't hurt me even just for a bit. But you broke my trust, drugging me." He fell silent again. He got up and sat on the bed. I sat with him. "But I did it because I don't want you to get hurt. That Lee guy is dangerous, we all know that." I defended myself. "That's where the suckest part is. I know you mean well, I know you want to protect me. That's why I can't get mad at you, or else I will just look like an asshole, again." He sulked. I hugged him and kissed his cheek. "I'm so sorry. I won't ever break your trust again." He half heartedly tried to push me away. I hugged him tighter. "Do you know what another suckest part is? Is that, eventhough you already broke my trust, I'm still in love with you. You still have that power over me. You hugged me, and everything is all right again. That's why I decided to forgive you. God, I really want to forget about you hurting me." He untangled himself from me, but I won't let go. "Maybe Mix has a drug to make me forget this whole thing." He joked. "I'll ask him tomorrow. Maybe he'll help me again." We laughed. "Nanon, we're gonna get through this. I know we will. Please forget about my one mistake." I hugged him again. I stroked his hair, and I can sense him starting to calm down.
