(Yesterday I went indoor rock climbing and this chapter might get posted toady hopefully)
Brit: Olaf, do you want to know where I'm going tomorrow?
Olaf: sure
Brit: indoor rock climbing
Olaf: what's that?
Brit: rock climbing is like climbing the North Mountain but in indoors
Olaf: cool!!
Brit: I know and this trip is only for 7th graders who want to go and my gym teachers and art teachers are going too!
(the next morning)
Brit: (she is wearing capris and a t shirt and she is eating breakfast)
Elsa: Brit, I heard from Olaf you are going rock climbing
Brit: there will be a bagel breakfast for the kids and pizza for lunch
Elsa: cool now you better go so you won't miss the bus
Brit: ok bye
Anna: bye
Elsa: bye
Olaf: bye
(At school)
Mr. Mulligan: ok, let's get into Asia but for the people who are going on the trip what time are you going?
Girl: 8:28
Mr. Mulligan: it's 8:30
Girl: we better go
Brit: yeah
(They go the gym to talk to Mrs.E)
Mrs.E: no, there'll be announcement
Girl: ok
Brit: I'm going to put my backpack in my locker
Girl: ok
(As Brit puts her bag in her locker the announcement is made and Brit walks back to homework for her water)
Brit: I'm going to get my water
Girl: ok
(5 minutes later everyone is eating a bagel and Brit is thinking about having one)
Brit: ahh whatever I'm going to get a bagel (she grabs a Cinnamon raisin bagel and eats it plane)
Mrs.E: ok the bus isn't here yet so just wait and now let me take attendance
(50 kids and 15 minutes later)
Mrs.E: ok let's go to the bus and no running or talking
(Everyone runs and talk a little)
Brit: hey would you like to sit with me?
Girl: I already said I would sit with someone else
Brit: ok (then another girl comes) would you like to sit with me?
Girl 2: sure
(12 minutes later)
Mrs.E: let's go!
Everyone: yeah! (a little weak)
Mrs.E: what?
Everyone: yeah! (Loud)
Mrs.E: ok
(15 minutes later)
Brit: where is this place? Ooh there it is
(The bus drives around a corner and stops)
Mrs.E: I'm going to check us in
(10 minutes later)
Mrs.E: we can go in and there will be 5 groups of 13 and I'll pick the groups (she picked the groups and Brit didn't know what group she was in)
Mander: everyone sit on the mats now there will be 4 stations and you will get 25 minutes at each now everyone get a harnesses on and we will help you
(5 minutes later)
Instructor 1: ok this is called group belaying will the first group come up to show an example. (the first group comes up and the instructor hooks them up to show the second group) Ok there are three people here and the other person will climb now you three walk backwards. (They take up the slack and pull up the climber) Ok does it feel tight?
Girl: yeah
Instructor 1: ok now start to clime (the girl starts to clime to the top) now garb the rope and sit back a little and you three walk slowly forward. (They lower the girl to the ground) good job
(While the others go Brit sits on the mat hoping she won't go first when her group goes)
Instructor 1: you come on
Brit: ok (she stands up and she thinks she is belaying but she is climbing)
Instructor 1: no your climbing
Brit: oh boy (they hook her up and they pull her up and the teachers cheer her on and she saids) I don't I like this
Mr.N: come on kid!
Mr.Z: yeah you got this!
Brit: I don't think I'm having fun
Mrs.E: (quietly said) she doesn't think she is having fun?
(She gets to the top and they bring her down and Mrs.E comes up to her)
Mrs.E: your shaking
(8 minutes later they move on to station 2)
Instructor 2: ok this is just regular climbing
Boy: (he is saying what order they go in) first, second, third, forth, fifth, sixth (Brit is sixth and the first 5 go by fast)
Instructor 2: ok who's next?
Brit: I am (she gets hooked up and starts to climb and as it gets harder Brit has a panic Attica) ok, get me down! Get me down! Get me down!
Instructor 2: you want to get down?
Brit: yeah (she gets a little scared but grabs on to the rope) Edward, was that a panic Attica?
Edward: yeah
(2 minutes later)
Instructor 3: this is a guide climbing. The climber will be blind folded and the other will guide them up the wall
Brit: can I go third?
Boy: sure
(5 minutes later it's Brit's turn and they blind fold her, hook her up, and she starts to climb and again has a panic Attica but she freezes and won't climb and she didn't make it over 15 feet)
Instructor 3: do you want to get down?
Brit: yeah (they get her down and unblind fold her)
(6 minutes later they move to the forth station)
Instructor 4: ok this is the three legged climbing and the you will have team name
Instructor 5: and I'll time you by counting and the team with the fastest time wins
(6 teams later)
Instructor 4: ok what is your team name?
Both: .....
Instructor 4: what is it?
Girl: pink
Instructor: like the singer or the color?
Girl: color
(They are tied together soon as they start climbing again Brit has a panic Attica. The kids are cheering her name but for some reason she starts to cry. And her team partner notices tells the instructions but Brit try's to keep going the team partner stops her and they go down)
(5 minutes later Brit feels better and try's again but her partner doesn't do it but another goes and Brit is a little eager pulls a little but she makes it to the top with a time of 18 seconds then at the end she buys a cookie, goes back to school, and goes home)
*what happened to Brit happen to me and my arms are sore and hurt! But I made my goal of posting two chapters today and I did! I'm happy about that!!
