Never being nice again

Hey ya'll, thought id update with a super short drabble. I have been SO busy with moving, college/job applications and writing screenplays. Hope you enjoy!

The sun shone lightly through the sheer white curtains, the wind blowing slightly. Bella stood in front of the oven, humming a small tune as they stirred a concoction only they knew. With the smells lingering in the air, you shift in your bed, the soft comforter creating a warmth you didn't want to leave. 

The distant humming quickly drew closer, disturbing your sleep even more than before. A shadow cast of you vision as you slowly pried your eyes open, the grogginess from your slumber making you confused. With the humming coming to a stop, Bella stands over you holding a try of food.

"I've made you breakfast." They said softly as you move into a sitting position. The blanket it staying on your lap as the tray is set on your lap. The warmth of the wooden tray comforted your legs as you looked at the food in front of you.

The smell wafted to your nose as you looked up to Bella, them looking at you expectantly as they wait for a response on what they made. Looking down at the food, you pick up a discarded fork that was settled on the tray and began to prod at the food.

You stab a piece of the homemade food before bringing to close to your face, your mouth open as you were about to shove the food in. Before doing so, you retreated the fork and looked at Bella once more, "This food looks like something a walrus would regurgitate to feed its least favorite baby" you said with a joking smile on your face.

With the response not being what they wanted, they feigned a look of offense before grabbing the plate from your lap. A small protest came from you as they turned around and began walking out of the room, turning back to look at you they say, "I'm never doing anything nice for you ever again." jokingly before leaving the room.
