Maisa's chest pained as her breathing sped up. She rubbed her chest in discomfort, getting more panicked as she paced her room.
She had to finish a very important paper for work, and she was unbelievably stressed. She didn't want to get fired.
Maisa hadn't had a panic attack in a long time, but her anxiety gladly welcomed it back home as Maisa started to hyperventilate, tears filling her eyes as she clutched her chest.
 "Love?" She heard.
Maisa wiped her tears and covered her mouth, turning around to see George, looking all adorable and confused.
"Love, you're crying! And hyperventilating!" George said, very concerned. He rushed to her and wrapped her up in his arms.
"My-my chest hurts, and I have to get this in or I think my boss will fire me. He's always been mean to me just because I'm a girl." Maisa managed to say through sobs and shaky breaths.
"Breathe, my sweet. Deep breaths." George took Maisa's hand and held it to his chest, looking in her tear-filled eyes, trying to hid his sadness as he coached her through her attack.
Maisa managed to calm down her breathing, but she nestled her face into George's chest and cried.
"It's ok, love. You always write amazing papers. You are going to get this done. You always do. I promise." George whispered, stroking her hair.
 "Thank you." She croaked.
After a while, she pulled away.
"Thank you for helping me." She said, embarrassed due to her hot, pink face and her reluctance of eye contact.
"Love, don't be embarrassed. Panic attacks suck, but they happen." George shrugged. Maisa nodded, smiling at George
Maisa sat down on the edge of the bed and started to scribble on her paper, writing away.
"What is your paper about, anyways?" George asked.
"Um...you guys. But it's stressful because I have to write a whole thing from when you started until now, which is a damn long time." Maisa giggled.
"Love, I could tell you. You don't need to collect evidence yourself. Don't ask John anything, he just gives his opinion, which no one cares about." George smiled.
"George!" Maisa lightly hit his shoulder, smiling, her anxiety faded away with the love of her life near her.
