"Did Blenda or his father already see the photo?" Evander asked the general.
Umiling-iling ito. "Ako palang at piling mga tauhan ang nakakita, and I already asked them to take down the photo. But even though the girl with you doesn't look like Reve, we still need to be more alert."
Tumango naman kami ni Evan.
"Her highness is the one who decided to change her appearance so fewer people would recognize her." Evan explained.
"That's great. Kiel also thought about suggesting that."
Pansamantalang natigil ang pagpapaliwanag ng general tungkol sa magiging plano sa pag-alis namin ng Mexico dahil sa tanong ni Evan kaya naman nang masagot na ito ay nagpatuloy na ulit siya.
"Pinapunta ko na si Kiel at mga tauhan ko sa Germany, and we will proceed with Princess Reveka's fake death there."
"Paano po mapapatunayan kay Blenda na ako nga iyong namatay sa Germany?" Tanong ko.
"They brought some valuable stuff from your room and also took your DNA from your toothbrush."
Tumango ako at napabaling sa kwarto nang may maalala.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Evan ng ilang sandali. Without saying anything, I knew he already knew what was on my mind.
"What do you mean, your highness?" General dela Cerna asked.
"Please excuse me for a second..." Paalam ko at nagtungo na sa kwarto.
Kinuha ko doon ang music box at ang naitabi kong buhok na nagupit na.

"I will send a signal to Ezekiel to carry on the plan the moment you leave for Manila. Susunod kaagad kami doon para sa inyong civil wedding. Your new documents are ready with the help of my assistant division commander." General dela Cerna added.
I nodded to notify him that I understood everything.
"Can I do something else to help, dad?" Habol ni Evander nang sabihin ng general na kailangan niyang nang tapusin ang video call.
General de la Cerna took some time before responding to his son.
"The only thing you can do right now is stay with your wife and protect her with your life, son."
I saw Evan swallow really hard and then clench his jaw before answering his father.
"I understand, sir."
The general ended the video call and told us that he would contact us again soon.
Itim na ang screen ng laptop pero nakatitig pa rin ako doon, inaalala ang mga bagong plano na sinabi ng general.
