- ... potion ingredients, robes and cloaks, I have a few usable cauldrons at home, we don't need to buy that... - Snape checked everything they needed to buy further more - In that case, - he spoke louder after murmuring everything before - we are going to Flourish & Blots for a few books. I have a lot of the needed books but we still need some - the man smiled to the girl who acted like an exited Crup puppy. Every tiny thing was crazily interesting for her. She was skipping next to the professor.
- Great! What books do you have at home? - she asked with her hair jumping around her face.
- You can have my old transfiguration book with the History of Magic. I think I even have the Newt Scamander book so we don't have to buy it - he listed them up. - I won't give you my copy of potion making because I want you to think on that class. We need a copy of Defence Against the Dark Arts - Basics for Beginners and... the Phyllida Spore book for Herbology class - he folded the list and put it back in his pocket.
They walked up to the bookstore. There were a lot of Hogwarts students or soon-to-be students. Snape was happy to say, they were way too busy to realise that the potions professor was walking over there. When they finally got the three books he looked at Mila.
- If you want, you can choose one just for fun - he winked at her with a smile. She was flattered. A huge smile appeared on her face, her know dark brown hair almost flew after her as she ran to get a book.
She wasn't exactly careful, and it showed. She ran into someone and fell over next to him.
- I'm so sorry! - she apologised right after falling. She just looked up and went on with the apology. - I didn't mean it, I...
- You should be more careful! - the red-headed boy talked to her as if she was just annoying and stupid. - Can't you look around? - He stood up and crossed his arms. He looked at her with arrogance.
- Leave her alone Percy! - there came another boy. He was older than the other. Just like the first one, he had red hair and a ton of freckles. That boy was way more smiley. - She said sorry, just... go back to mum - he asked Percy.
Percy just turned around and walked away. He seemed to believe that he's better that almost everybody.
- Sorry 'bout that - he gave her a soft smile and help her up.
- No, no problem - she said fastly - I'm really sorry for running into him. I'm M-Evelynn! - she almost shouted as she realised, she was close to say her real name.
- Nice to meet you Evelynn, my name is Charlie. That was my brother Percy.
- Charlie! - a woman shouted through the crowd.
- I'm coming! - he said and turned back to her - Bye, Evelynn! - he quickly said goodbye and disappeared between the people.
Mila looked after him. She reminded her that she should have pick a book or just go back to her dad. She ran back instead of stare at the shelfs.
- Dad! I'm back - she stopped next to Snape. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow. She examinated herself and didn't know why is she getting this look.
- ...what? - she asked.
They were next in line, so the professor paid and while they found the way out of the store, he asked.
- No new book?
- No. I couldn't choose. But I accidentaly bumped into someone - she smiled sheepishly. Severus just shook his head.
As they were walking out on the door she tripped in a robe and fell with the one who wore that robe.
- Sweatheart, are you alright? - a woman asked her, helping her up. A man next to her helped the boy up. She nodded.
- I'm sorry! - she apologised to the boy, who turned out to be...
- Yes, you should be! You knocked me for the second time! - ...Percy - Couldn't you look arou.. - he didn't say the last part. He got interrupted by a caugh from the potion professor.
- Professor Snape! - he looked at him surprised.
- Mr. Weasley may I know why are you shouting on the street? - he used the 'Hogwarts feared professor' style. Mila was already grinning.
- Good afternoon professor Snape! - the woman greeted him with the family around her.
- Mrs. Weasley - he gave her a strict nod. Charlie and two boys who looked exactly the same exchanged a look with her. She didn't understand. Everyone was acting as if Snape was going to fight somebody.
- I'm sorry but we have a few things to do. Grace, can we go? - he asked her.
- Yyyyepp! - she gave a huge nod and jumped next to him. He almost broke the character. The Weasleys looked shocked. Evelynn grinned mischievously up to Snape. He couldn't hold it anymore.
- What? - he laughed.
- Can we go to Fortescue's? - she smiled from ear to ear. Snape sighed still smiling.
- You are an awfully lucky witch... - he answered and gave a nod as 'goodbye' for the Weasley family.
- Yes! - she jumped up in the air then turned back to the Weasleys - Goodbye! And I'm really sorry Percy! - she waved and started skipping next to the professor.
