Nobody was in the dormitory when Snape and Evelynn finally got there. As the last weeks she's been able to stay Evelynn on the outside 24-7 the potion professor sent an owl to tell Miss Isla that she is finally going back to school. Even after getting out of St. Mungo, she couldn't go back to Hogwarts, because of her appearence. She was constantly changing her looks through the last month of the sickness, cause she couldn't concentrate to stay in one way. After two weeks Snape finally took her back to the hospital, and agreed with the healers that she can finally go on with her studies. She got a lot of owls from Katie and Rachel, both of them wanted to know if she's okay, and even after school started they were writing about everything that happened. Such as about professor Quirrel, the new Defence Against the dark arts teacher. Rae wrote that he is weird and boring. Evelynn couldn't understand why. Katie was really excited about quidditch. She even tried out to get into the team and now she was practicing as a chaser with Alicia, another Gryffindor from their year. They sent her every new spell and chapter they learnt about in any classes.
She left out for all September. She needed to get back to learning quickly or she will be in trouble with the second year's assignments. She was still enervated a lot of times but the potions she got worked. She didn't feel empty or sad and she wasn't in pain. As she was lying on her bed, she closed her eyes. She didn't have to pack in or carry anything from home cause her dad didn't let her at all. Dumbledore let her and Snape to come back to Hogwarts with floo-powder, which was a less pleasant, but less tiring way of traveling. It was easier for her. This Saturday afternoon was really quiet in the castle. The first quidditch match was taking place (Ravenclaw - Slytherin) so everybody was ouside to watch the match. She rested for a little more then pulled out her new books and started to learn transfiguration. They had their first homework assignment due the upcoming Monday and she had to practice transfiguring a cushion pillow into a mouse. Last year she had to turn it into a snail, which was easier considering that it doesn't have bones. The movement is the same, the spell is the same, yet it still wasn't working out.
After a few hours of not really concentrating she finally found the needed attention to make it work. After that she wanted to write her homework but she was just drawing doodles on her paper. At half past two she realised that she is hungry. So she got up slowly and walked out of the common room, into the Great Hall. She was annoyed but tired enough to stay calm instead of being angry by her distracted self. As she walked into the Great Hall, lots of students were eating their lunch. The Slytherin table was the loudest. After sitting down on the end of the Hufflepuff table (closer to the door) she picked some dishes on the table. She started to eat and just stared into her dish. It was usual for her to not to think of anything since June. As she ate somebody scared her from behind. He shouted and touched her shoulders and in reply she jumped together. As she turned around George Weasley stood next to the table.
- You shouldn't do that again - she acted seriously. - If you want to live long.
George smiled from ear to ear. Then turned around and shouted for his brother. The look-alike came closer with two other students Evelynn haven't met yet. One of them felt oddly familiar to her.
- What's up here Georgie? - Fred asked. The duo behind him were quiet. Evelynn slowly got up.
- I was just planning a murder - she said it casually - And how are you? - she smiled. Fred looked at her as if he was horrified, then laughed.
- I am good, thanks! But you are in trouble - he said still smiling but seriously. - McGonagall wants to see you along with Snape.
- Oh! I almost forgot! - she slapped her forehead - thanks for reminding me - as she said the professors already came there from  the other end of the room.
- Miss Prince, I am happy to see you back - McGonagall greeted her with a subtle smile.
- I'm happy to be back too, professor.
- Well than, Madam Pomfrey will wait for you every afternoon at four o'clock in the Hospital wing - she said - be on time!
- Yes professor, I'll be on time. - she said.
- About this situation, - the teacher continued - Mr. Weasley - she looked at the fourth red-headed - You are going to go with her on Tuesdays and Wednesdays - she said it like an order - Miss Davies will be here in a second, she will go with you the other days as Hufflepuff prefect.
- Yes, professor - Percy acted like he was just given an award from the Minister of Magic. Fred and George looked confused.
- Mr. Potter! - McGonagall turned to the black haired boy behind the twins - Oliver Wood will wait for you tomorrow afternoon at five o'clock on the training grounds.
The boy nodded as if he was saying "alright".
- Miss Prince - Snape called her and she turned there right away. He gave her five bottles. A little one, with transparent liquid, and four bigger, two of them with bright yellow and two with lighter orange coloured potions in it.
- Don't forget to drink them! - he said staying in character, but Evelynn saw the worry in his eyes.
- Yes, professor! Thank you! - she answered quickly. As the professors said their goodbyes, the group walked out of the Great Hall. As they were talking Evelynn turned to the two boys she haven't met yet.
- By the way! I'm Evelynn - she put out her right. The next Weasley shook it.
- I'm Ron. Weasley. - he added his surname quickly - Nice to meet you!
- I'm Harry Potter! - the black haired boy shook her right. Evelynn stayed calm as much as she could.
- Great to meet you! - she smiled. He looked like the photos of James. His eyes weren't the same, but she just saw the pictures again in front of her eyes. She pulled her thoughts back from the memories and asked the two.
- How do you like it in Hogwarts?
They started to talk about classes, quidditch and George even jokingly said that they should stop this topic, cause somebody won't understand it. She felt the pulling feeling, when she couldn't get up in the hospital. She quickly sat down on the stairs.
- Are you okay? - Harry stopped mid-sentence.
- Sure - she quickly put on a smile - My legs felt more like sitting. Fred sat next to her and bumped her shoulder.
- She is always this lazy! - he laughed.
Evelynn laughed with the others but she wasn't feeling good. She tried to stay calm. She then looked down at the bottles in her hand.
- He didn't gave me... he didn't have it... - she mumbled. This was a sign of not getting the Calming Draught. She drank it once a week, mostly Saturdays when she ate her lunch. The first sign is anxiety. The next is forgetting. George was the first one to react.
- What's the matter? - he squatted down. Harry and Ron stopped talking.
- I go for McGonagall - Fred stood up but Evelynn pulled his robe, so he sat back.
-....Snape... - she said - Get Snape... tell... - her hands and legs were shaking. She forgot. Fred didn't wait any longer. He jumped up and ran into the Great Hall.
- Guys, do you have water? - George looked at the first years.
- I get some - Harry ran after Fred. George and Ron tried to calm her down with not much luck. Fred came back with professor Sprout and Flitwick. Flitwick walked upstairs quickly while Sprout asked the boys to give her some air. Evelynn looked at everybody confused.
- How are you feeling? - Sprout asked. She couldn't answer. She didn't know what to say. Snape and Flitwick came back. The man gave a bottle of blue potion to her. She didn't open it. Then the man got her hand. Somehow she heard him talking. She listened to him saying "drink it, it's medication".
As she was drinking it memories came back and she started to calm down.
- What is the answer to this? - Snape sat down on the stairs. He was talking on his Hogwarts voice but he didn't stay completely in professor style - Rictumsempra, Flippendo, Incaercarandus - he listed them quickly.
- Jump out of the way, Expelliarmus, Protegro - she said it without missing a beat.
- Invito, Stup...
- Obstructo - Evelynn didn't wait until Snape finished the second spell's name. She was thinking clearly just like in duelling. Her hands were still shaking a bit but the potion worked.
- The three law of duelling? - the potion professor asked. McGonagall looked at him with empathy. The four Gryffindor boy stood there shocked. Severus Snape was almost... kind. Flitwick professor was concentrating to the questions. With every answer he raised his eyebrows further up.
- Wait out the perfect time, be precise, be calm on the outside - the girl listed up everything.
Flitwick got more surprised.
The next bit of talking went really fast.
- Professor - Evelynn turned to Snape - Can I...
- No.
- But I...
- No!
- Dad!
- Evelynn!
- Dad?
The two looked at the duo asking. It wasn't the two twins nor the first years. It was only one of the twins, Fred to say it more precisely along with the Charms professor. The first to mention asked it loudly, the second was just audible as he murmured. The two sitting on the stairs looked up. As they realised what happened Evelynn cracked up and tried to play it out as a cough. Snape cracked and couldn't hold it.
- Yes, this witch is my daughter - he said calming down - and she doesn't really want to listen to me.
- She would if somebody weren't a... how did Peeves sing it last year? - she smirked wickedly. Then she started to sing - Bat-likely Snapey the greasy haired lonely...
As she sang she stood up and skipped around the professor. Snape sat there and in a second he got her up and put her down on the second step of the staircase.
- We talked about this already - Snape started the talk - And it's the only the first day of you being here again and - he crossed his arms - you already had some troubles...
- But I won't! - she stomped her right foot.
- Evelynn... - the professor sighed - If you are okay for two weeks then we can talk about this topic.
- But...
- I said no! - Snape raised his voice. A few locks of Evelynn's hair turned red for a second. She was angry. Even if they were arguing Snape was happy to see her being her fighting self. She was really like her mother. Snape turned around.
- One of you, go with her to the Hufflepuff common room - he said jumping back to the potion professor version of himself. George nodded and stood next to her. He told Fred to go with Ron and Harry, so they wouldn't get lost again. Then Snape turned around and walked upstairs. Flitwick and McGonagall followed him. George took the bottles and pointed to the stair going down to Evelynn. They said a quick goodbye to the other three and went downstairs. As they were walking George was oddly quiet.
- What's the matter? - she asked after a few quiet minutes. - I'm not used to you being so quiet.
- I just didn't know Snape is your father - he said - Like your name is Prince and not Snape, to start with - he acted it out jokingly. Evelynn smiled.
- It's because I was adopted - she said - he didn't want me to have his name, cause... of the bat-professor character... et cetera - she laughed.
- Still! - George opened his mouth then closed it. - Nope. I understand why didn't you tell us - he kept on walking after this.
- Thank you for carrying those - she said and took the potions back from the boy, when they arrived to the Hufflepuff common room's entrance.
- As if I had any chance to not help with it - he bowed dramatically. Evelynn sighed and rolled her eyes. She then knocked on the wall and the door appeared. She walked in not turning back to say goodbye. She just wave a bit. George was loudly complaining. She walked up to the dormitory and put away the potions. Then started to work on the transfiguration essay. She had to be quick and concentrated... again.
