Jungkook schooled his expression as he walked onto the stage from the opposite end that Seokmin walked onto it from. Jungkook knew that Seokmin was staring at him likely wearing a haughty expression like he always does. Jungkook once he reached the chairs that were set up for him and Yoongi sat down into it ignoring the flashes from cameras and calls of his name from those who operated them.
Jungkook stared forward into the crowd, specifically to the back of it over the heads of all the reporters to lock eyes with Jimin who gave him an encouraging smile. Jungkook didn't react even though he wanted to return the smile with his own instead feigning boredom which wasn't exactly hard to do in his case.
Yoongi sat there next to Jungkook holding onto Jungkook's championship belt which was draped across his lap in all its glory. Yoongi was trying his best to refrain from blinking rapidly against all the flashes of lights coming from all the cameras which thankfully started to die down once the organizer of the fight began to speak introducing both Seokmin and Jungkook.
"Thank you everyone for joining us here today as we announce probably one of the most wanted and now most anticipated fights in the history of the WBC. Lee "Bad Intentions" Seokmin versus Jeon "Hit Man" Jungkook. As you all know Jeon's reputation speaks for itself with 32 wins and zero losses who is also currently our middleweight boxing champion. This will be a title match where Jeon will defend his title against Lee who has his own impressive record of 33 wins with only four loses. Now let's talk about the fight. Lee, I'll start with you. This is your first title shot. How are you feeling about that?"
"I could care less about the title I just want my shot at Jeon." Seokmin grinned darkly behind the microphone as he glanced in Jungkook's direction who just stared forward. "It's all I've wanted since I was signed to fight professionally."
"Jeon how does that make you feel knowing that Lee could care less about the title up for grabs but wanting to just get his hands on you instead?"
"Lee is nothing but a bully something we all know so it's not surprising that that is what matters to him." Jungkook spoke nonchalantly.
"I'd rather be a bully than a coward." Seokmin fired back.
"Call me what you want I could give two shits about your opinion of me Lee." Jungkook countered. "Besides, we both know I was cornered into this fight. It's the only reason you are getting into the ring with me." Jungkook's face hardened before he spoke again this time in Seokmin's direction. "Regardless of how this fight is happening my title isn't going anywhere. I plan on retiring as the middleweight boxing champion just like I plan on putting you in your place like I should have done all those years ago."
"So, the rumors are true that you plan to retire after this fight?" The host asked taking Jungkook's steely gaze from Seokmin.
"I was already in retirement before I had to come out of it to deal with this clown." Jeon gestured in Seokmin's direction making Yoongi smirk next to him.
"A clown?" Seokmin chuckled humorlessly as he stood up from his seat turning to face Jungkook. "The only clown I see here is you. Bitching out all because your brother died. Well boo fucking hoo."
Jungkook was out of his seat before he even knew what he was doing and in Seokmin's face, forehead pressed into his aggressively.
"Keep my brother out of your fucking mouth Lee or I swear to God." Jungkook grit out.
"What are you going to do Jeon?" Seokmin smirked getting the exact reaction he wanted out of Jungkook.
Jungkook didn't get the chance to answer Yoongi pushing in-between the two of them and pushing Jungkook back towards his seat. Jungkook gave Yoongi a look of irritation.
