You Get What You Give || Jikook [ONGOING]

Chapter 13

Jimin's eyes blinked open slowly blinking his groggy state away. When his eyes adjusted to the lack of light in the room a sleepy smile bent his lips. Jungkook was still fast asleep his mouth hanging wide open. Jimin watched Jungkook's chest rise and fall sleep still holding onto him tightly. Jimin sat himself up in Jungkook's bed careful not to disturb him. He did the same as he pulled himself towards his chair and lifted himself into it. Jimin glanced behind himself to make sure that Jungkook was still asleep as he wheeled himself out of Jungkook's bedroom. Knowing that Jungkook was still fast asleep he shut the door behind himself.

Jimin now in the hall of Jungkook's apartment wheeled himself down it into the bathroom. Once in the bathroom Jimin washed his face and brushed his teeth. It wasn't as easy to do here in Jungkook's place since it wasn't modified for him to be able to, but Jungkook had tried to make sure that everything Jimin might need would be within reach for him. Jimin smiled around his toothbrush remembering how Jungkook kept rearranging everything not satisfied with the fact that Jimin couldn't easily do what he needed like he did back in his house. Jimin eventually shoved Jungkook out of the bathroom when Jungkook wondered aloud if he could find someone to remodel the bathroom to fit Jimin's needs while they were out for the day. And while Jimin had told Jungkook he was being ridiculous Jimin also felt so grateful that Jungkook was even willing to do that.

Jimin finished brushing his teeth and ran his fingers through his hair before grabbing his bag from where it sat next to the tub near the toilet and took his cathing supplies out to take care of the other more tedious portion of his morning routine. Jimin after he finished urinating, cleaned everything up and threw away what needed to be thrown away washing his hands afterwards. Once finished Jimin wheeled himself out of the bathroom and down the hall into the living room all the way to the windows that overlooked Seoul.

The view was pretty consisting of both the cityscape and mountain. He knew just by looking that the mountain within view was Achasan Mountain. He loved that mountain having hiked it many times to its top to watch a sunset or to just stare off into the distance and settle his mind when he was stressed. Jimin thinking of hiking realized how much he missed doing it.

He missed doing a lot of things really. Jimin hadn't realized until the past couple of days how much he had been limiting himself from enjoying things. Enjoying life. Jimin had let himself fall into the trap that because he could no longer walk that he could no longer enjoy life like he used to. That his life was over. Jimin didn't want to be like that anymore. Jimin wanted to do the things he used to do. Even if he couldn't do them in the same way that he used to be able to when he walked. He wanted to enjoy life again like he used to even if he had to do it from his chair.

Jimin's self-revelation had his eyes welling with tears that quickly fell tracing down his cheeks to fall over his smiling lips. Because despite those tears they were happy ones. The type of tears that he hadn't shed in a long time.

"Jimin?"

Jimin turned around at Jungkook calling his name. Jimin reached up and wiped his face free of his tears Jungkook rushing towards him as he did. Jungkook dropped down in front of Jimin's chair when he reached him and immediately cupped his face with his warm hands that Jimin leaned into.

"Baby why are you crying?" Jungkook asked concerned at finding Jimin crying alone in his living room.

"I'm just happy. That's all" Jimin answered smiling still.

"Are you sure? You're not just saying that since I caught you crying?" Jungkook asked despite Jimin's smile.

Jimin raised his hands cupping Jungkook's which still cupped his face and brought them down into his lap lacing them together.
