Morning shift

*Disclaimer mentions of depression suicide*

Kai finally got home. She was soaked from the rain sighing she went and got in the shower. When she did she started crying. Backstory on her family, her dad works for a big company and travels a lot and her brother works with his friends in their own little business. Her mom on the other hand is a lot, her parents got into a big fight after her mom had came out and said she accidentally cheated, her dad didn't see it like that but he stayed with her because he loved her no matter what. But after the fight it took a toll on her mom, her depression became worse and she started to harm herself again and more often. She had been to different doctors and put on medallions and it didn't help. So her mental health was going down and down. With this Kai and her dad told her if she was to do it they would have to put her in a mental health facility to try and help. And so they did, now all alone Kai didn't know what to do. She had never been alone, sure she has a job but she never had to do anything alone she always had her mom. Now with her gone she doesn't know what to do. Getting out of the shower she put some comfy clothes on and went to bed early, knowing she has to get up and work.
Kai never knew what she wanted to do, sure she was good at art but that wasn't a real job so she got a local job and has had it since she graduated. Finally letting the darkness take over she fell asleep. Hearing her alarm going off she woke up tried still. She got up walking into her bathroom getting ready and putting her uniform on, not ready for the day. Finally done walking out and grabbing her keys and putting her shoes on she walks out of the house locking the doors. She would take the car but she wanted to walk to day putting in her headphones, she starts to play her music while walking to work.
She finally makes it seeing her boss there already knowing he was going to ask her to stay later. Walking up to the door, being stoped by her boss. "Hey Kai is there a way you could stay till close tonight, I have to do something tonight and I can't rearrange it I'm sorry" she looked at him. "Yea I can you always know the answer lee know" she said sighing knowing it's going to be a long night. "Thank you so much Kai, I promise to make it up to you" he hugged her. "Ok ok it's fine now let me go so I can work" he let go and she walked in clocking in, making sure everything is stocked and ready for tonight.
12:29 read the clock, smiling she was so ready to go home. She put her headphones in and listened to music while she cleaned up and locked everything up. After she was done she started to walk home. Knowing the streets she was on she made sure to walk fast home. After making it home she went in and took a shower. She hated that after every shift she smelt like soju. Taking a long deserved shower she finally got out changing into her pjs and went to her desk. She planned to draw a bit. She liked to draw and paint a lot. After hours of drawing she looked at the clock. 3:04, she shot up and ran into her bed hoping she would be able to wake up tomorrow. Falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. Little did she know her brother would be coming home from being away for a while.
