River and her parents are on their to see the new house in Massachusetts. River is not at all happy about the move, even though her parents are ecstatic about it.
River misses her old home back in Georgia and she wishes she was old enough to have stayed back. They finally make it to the house and it is really pretty but also very simple. River gets out of the car and wrinkles her nose at the new house.
"Ugh, I don't like it and we're not even officially moved in yet" River sighs annoyingly and takes her headphones before putting them on.
"Hey pumpkin are you even going to help your mom and I?" Her dad asked kindly but she just ignores him as she disappears in her new house.
"This place is a shithole" she mudders to herself as she quietly glances around each area of the house.
She then starts making her way down the white rugged hallway and stops at a bedroom the farthest from the front of the hallway."This one" River whispers to herself as she looks around the naked room.
She was extremely frustrated that her parents had to move because they wanted 'a fresh start.'River just wants her old town and her old house where she had thousands of happy memories from but she knows that will never happen.
