River was in her own room, writing in her journal. She did this when she needed to get things off of her mind.
It had been almost two weeks since her parents left and in her heart she knows they're never coming back.

River wonders if this was why they moved to Lexington Avenue in the first place, to get rid of her.
She never thought her parents were that bad but then again, she doesn't know her parents at all.

She absolutely hates them for what they've done to her. She hates that they are her parents, she wished that she was born into a family that loved her and cherished her but in the end, River was never a lucky girl.

River wrote a whole page in her journal, trying to ease the pain a bit.
See River acts like it doesn't bother her that her parents left but deep, deep down, she's absolutely devastated by their choice.

Without noticing, River begins to cry hard into her pillow. She's crying so hard that she feels herself beginning to shake.
She can't breathe, she's crying too hard and it hurts so much.

Suddenly, River feels someone wrap their arms around her and she just embraces them as much as she can.
Usually she'd push them away or tell them to get out but at this moment, she wants them to see how she truly is deep down.

"Shh Riv, it's going to be alright. I'm here for you" she heard Kayden say while hugging her tightly.
She didn't let go of Kayden and still hung onto him as he caressed her arm lightly.

"I'll always be here for you Riv, never think differently okay?" Kayden asked then kissed the girl's head lightly.

"Okay" River said in a soft, shaky tone from crying hard.

Even though it might be hard, River knew she was going to be alright.
