River was over at Kyler and Kayden's house again. Her parents were still not back and she believes that they just upped and left her there.
She wasn't complaining though, she hasn't been this happy and free ever so she's honestly thankful that they left.

Kyler was a little worried about River considering that he hasn't seen her parents come back from their 'trip' but he doesn't want to say anything about it.
Kyler believes that maybe River and her parents didn't really get along or something like that, considering that she never talks about them.

He just hopes that his best friend is okay, he never wants River to feel lonely or left out.

River was almost like a mystery to Kyler. She was extremely sweet and kind but someone who doesn't know her would think she's a troublemaker or mean.
River was honestly the sweetest person he's ever met.

Yeah, when he first met River she did smash a pie in his face but he truly believes it was because she was going through a tough time.
Kyler forgave her and is glad that he is best friends with her.

"Hey River! Bet I can beat you to the pool!" Kyler said to River as he saw her come out of the bathroom from putting on her neon green skeleton bathing suit.

This is how I picture River's bathing suit.” <3

"Oh yeah! Let's see about that Ky"

"Oh yeah! Let's see about that Ky"

The two ran out into the backyard heading as fast as they could into the pool but suddenly something or someone both pulled them into the water together.

"Damn it Kayden! Why'd you do that? I was going to beat River and now you messed it up!" Kyler said coming up from the water, then lightly pouted his lower lip out playfully.

River swam over to a heart shaped floaty and sat down on it, she wanted to get a tan this summer since she was always as white as a ghost.

The three friends played in the pool for a good two hours before they finally got out and dried off.
River was going to spend the night over at their house again because she didn't wanna go back to her house and get lonely.

She's extremely grateful for her two best friends and wouldn't change them for the world.
