"I'm bored as shit" River mumbled to herself as she watched her ceiling like it was the most entertaining thing she'd ever seen.

She stared at the ceiling with no emotion on her face. She wished there was something to do but this is a new town and she doesn't know what exciting things are here.

River then sat up in her bed when she heard her mom call her from the kitchen.
She slowly got up from her comfortable bed and headed down the hallway where she saw her mom, and she did not look too happy.

"River I told you to do these dishes before I got back and look, they're still not done! You never listen to me River and I'm tired of it! Tired of it!" Her mom yelled at her as she threw the dirty dish back in the sink making River slightly flinch.

"Mom, I'm sorry, it's just-" before River could finish her mom cut her off.

"No! No more excuses River! You're just a lazy ass daughter that doesn't do shit! You do nothing! Absolutely nothing. Your father and I do every single thing for you!
I'm done with your stupid excuses River!" Her mom yelled, making River look down at the floor.

"You know I haven't been the same since, well you know mom. I'm trying to get better but it's hard" River says as she feels tears coming down her soft rozy cheeks.

"No, I'm not dealing with the fake crying River! You need to get over it and move on, you are acting so ridiculous right now! Just stop" her mom said as she shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"Mom I'm sorry, I'll do the dishes if you still want me to" River says as tears still flow down her cheeks.

"No, go I'm done with you. Just go back to your room where you're always at. I don't want to see you right now" her mom said as she began cleaning the dishes.

As River was walking down the hallway, back to her room, she heard her mom say something under her breath that she wished she never would have heard.

"I wish I didn't even have a kid"

River ran out in the front, tears still coming from her hazel eyes. She grabbed her Skateboard and took off. She didn't know where to go but at that moment, she didn't even care.

After riding her skateboard for a while she saw this nice looking park, so she stopped at one of the benches and sat down. She was beyond hurt by her mom and pulled out her journal, writing all of her thoughts down on the page.

It was in the evening, so it was starting to get dark but River still had time to sit there for a while longer.
She never wants to go home again but knows she has to, and that kills her inside.
