River was in the comfort of her own room when she heard her mom call out to her.
She was still very hurt by what her mom had said because that's her own mother for crying out loud.

She slowly and quietly put her feet onto the carpet and walked out of her room, inching closer to the end of the hallway.
She saw her mom standing there with a hand on her hip. She looked annoyed yet again, this was nothing new.

"You're dad and I are going to the store to get a few things. We should be back within an hour or two okay? Be good now River and I mean it" her mom confirmed before grabbing her purse and walking out.

"Whatever" River said when her mom walked out the front door.
It was so upsetting to River that her and her own mom didn't really get along with each other well.

River walked back to her room, she didn't really want to go to the ice cream shop today because she wasn't in the mood.
Matter of fact, she was pissed off that day for some reason. Probably regarding her mom.

Suddenly after being in her room for 10 minutes, River heard the doorbell ring.
She got up confused and slowly made her way to the front door.
It couldn't be her parents, could it?

She looked out the window where you could see the front porch and there were two teen boys out there standing, holding something in their hands.

River slightly opened the door to be greeted by two twin brothers, she noticed this because they were literally identical to each other.
They both had dark brown hair with blue eyes. She fully opened the door and saw them holding a pie.

"Hello! I'm Kyler and this is my brother Kayden. We saw that you guys just moved in so our mom made you guys a homemade apple pie. Enjoy!" The boy said holding out the apple pie so River could take it.

See River was in a really bad mood that day so she did take the pie but instead of just saying thank you and closing the door, she smashed the beautiful pie in Kyler's face.

River smiled sarcastically then slammed the door in the two brother's faces. She didn't even feel bad and in a way it felt amazing to let her anger out.

River just hopes that her parents don't find out, because she'll be fucked if they do.
