River had spent the night over at Kyler and Kayden's house, she started to feel lonely and decided to go visit them again.
She was honestly so beyond grateful for her friendship with the two boys.
The last time she ever had a friend, it didn't end too well.In a way, River has this fear that she'll lose Kyler and Kayden. She hates thinking that, but that's exactly what happened before and she doesn't want to ever have that feeling again.
River heard someone walking down the hallway, getting closer to the room.
She listened very closely, waiting to see who it was."Hello children, breakfast is ready so get up and come eat with us" their mom Matilda said cheerfully with a smile.
"Ugh go away mom!" Kayden groaned clearly annoyed by his mom waking them up.
"Yeah, we're still sleeping " Kyler spoke up.
"Oh thank God, I'm so starving! Thank you Mrs Myles!" River chirped getting up from her spot and walking out the door.
"You're welcome sweetie"
River made her way into the kitchen, sitting down at the table where she saw a stack of delicious pancakes right in front of her.
"Holy shit!" She whispered, yelled to herself so nobody could hear her.
"Good morning River! How was your stay?" Bernie spoke up. Kyler and Kayden's father.
"Oh it was so nice, thanks for having me stay over Mr Myles"
"Anytime sweetie. You get along with my boys so well and they love having you over" Bernie said before digging into his pancakes.
That's when Kyler and Kayden came into the kitchen, getting themselves some pancakes and sitting down both beside River.
River was extremely thankful to have moved across the street to people who are so lovely and kind.
