River felt bad when the next day came around. She didn't mean to come off as a bitch but she was just extremely upset that day and took it out on the poor boy.
If she could go back in time and fix it, she most definitely would."River Skies! Get the fuck down here right this instant young lady!" Her mom yelled.
River knew that it was probably about what happened yesterday and there was no way to get out of this mess.
"Just kill me already" River said to herself as she walked down the hallway.
"River why the hell would you smash a pie into a boy's face huh? What the fuck is wrong with you? I didn't raise you to be like this, you better go apologize right now!" Her mom yelled again.
River was so used to her mom yelling at her that it doesn't even bother her anymore. She's just learned to deal with it.
Suddenly River's mom came up to her and slapped her across the face. River immediately cupped her face and looked at her mom in shock.
"That's what you deserve! And you want to know what? I wish I never had you River, you were the biggest mistake of my life!" Her mom said as her dad was sitting on the chair, saying absolutely nothing.
That's when her mom and dad got up. Her mom grabbed her purse and they both walked out, not saying a single word to their poor daughter.
River almost collapsed onto the chair, she didn't cry though. She was done crying about her parents that don't even care about her.
River got up and decided to make cupcakes for the two boys that she did that too. Baking and cooking always made River feel better.
She decided to make the cupcakes chocolate with vanilla icing. Then she got blue food coloring to dye the cupcakes frosting a beautiful shade of blue.
River put some sprinkles on her cupcakes and was finally satisfied with how they turned out.River put the six cupcakes on a plate and walked across the street to give the boys their cupcakes.
It was also an apology gift for them because she did smash the pie they made in their face.River rang the doorbell and Kayden answered the door. She remembered which one was who.
"Hi, I made these homemade cupcakes for you guys. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for acting like that, I wasn't in a good mood yesterday and I'm sorry.
I didn't mean to take it out on you guys"
River said holding out the cupcakes for Kayden could take it."Thanks! And it's fine, we all have bad days!" Kayden said taking the cupcakes and pulled River in for a hug. She was confused as to why he forgave her so quickly. He didn't even get angry.
Kayden and River both pulled away from the hug and they said their goodbyes. She walked back to her house and closed the door.
The thing is, River is so used to her mom screaming and yelling at her that when Kayden didn't get mad, she was confused.
She went back to her room and turned on her TV, relaxing for the rest of the day.
