River has just finished getting her bedroom done. She was very pleased with how it had turned out and she's glad that she kept the lightning light that her dad didn't like.
River sat down on her bed, grabbing her stuffed bear that she had since she was just a little girl. It may not seem like it but that stuffed bear meant a lot to River because it reminds her of something or shall I say someone.
"River hunny, it's time for dinner!" Her mom yells from the kitchen.
She groaned not wanting to leave the comfort of her room but knew that if she didn't, her mom would not be pleased."There you are pumpkin, we haven't seen you all day. You probably didn't even do your room yet" her dad says putting River's plate down in front of her.
"Dad please don't call me pumpkin, I'm 17 not 5 anymore and yes, matter of fact I did do my room" River says confidently as she begins to eat her food.
"Well I'm very surprised and glad that you did your room. You're always so lazy that everybody has to do simple things for you. Good job Riv" her mom says with a hint of a snobby tone in her voice.
River sat in her chair, eating in silence. Why would her mom say something like that? She knows that River has been going through absolute hell but still has to be a little bit of a bitch about it.
After dinner was done, River got up from her chair and went straight back to her room.
She turned off the big light on the ceiling so it was just the light glow of the red LED lightning light.River got under her warm covers and let the sleep take her away.
