Chapter 16

"Fang... Ai Fang!" Elder brother Ben called out to him causing Fang who was sitting in his chair at his office, a little lost in thoughts to startle slightly.

"Yes," Fang immediately turned to answer.

"This evening, Dan invited me to drink. Do you want to join us?" Ben invited. Fang hesitated for a moment before nodding.

"Okay, I want to go out for a drink too. By the way, Brother Ben,
Brother Dan won't mind if I join?" Fang asked back.

"Because Dan allowed him to go. That's why he invited me as well," Mon said jokingly. Fang smiled, knowing that today Ben had an appointment to eat with a group of female friends together.

"Then I'll see you after work," Mon said back before walking away to continue working. Fang continued to work as well. Today, he did overtime until 7 pm then Dan walked up to Fang.

"Fang, let's go in our car," Dan walked in and said before Fang put his stuff in his bag and prepared to close the office. Colleagues were waiting in front of the company, 2 women and 3 men including Fang, there were now 4 men. Fang rides with Dan to go straight to the liquor store.

"Are you uncomfortable with anything? I see you sitting still and sighing all day?" Dan asked worried. Fang was still for a little while.

"I'm sorry," Fang said, feeling guilty for being distracted during work.

"Hey, I'm not scolding you or anything. I and Brother Ben are worried because you are not as bright as before. You can consult with us if you have anything, you know?" Dan said, making Fang feel glad to have such a good senior looking after him.

"Thank you, Brother Dan. But it is nothing. Probably not getting enough rest," Fang said in a low voice.

"Then we invited you to come and drink like this. Will it make your body worse than before?" Dan asked jokingly. Fang sent a smile back.

"Nevermind, I wanted to drink too," Fang said. He wanted to drink to forget some of the memories that were causing him immense pain in his chest right now. He wanted to drink to forget his feelings for Ken. Dan drove to the store. When they had all gathered together, they walked inside to find a table. Fang looked at the table of a group of teenagers and smiled a little.

"Brother Dan, I will follow you. Let me go say hi to my brothers," Fang told Dan before walking apart.

"Graf, Joe," Fang greeted the juniors living next door to his condo causing both of them to turn to look at him. Joe immediately frowned when he saw Fang whom he knew very well. Fang secretly laughed in his heart that Joe was jealous of him talking with Graph.

"Ah, Brother Fang, who are you with?" Graf greeted back when he saw that it was Fang.

"Came with my colleagues. When doing OT, the elders dragged me along as well," Fang said smilingly.

"How did Graf and Joe come?" Fang asked.

"Motorcycle," Joe answered quietly causing Fang to pause for a bit because he thought if they had come in a taxi then they all could return together.

"Oh... then. Take it easy. I'll go to the table first," Fang said before walking away to his own table.

"Who is he, Fang?" Dan asked in surprise.

"My brothers living next door," Fang replied, before continuing to drink with his co-workers. From time to time, Fang turned to look at Graf and Joe. He was deeply jealous that the two of them seemed to love each other so much. Fang could see how much Joe loved Graf making him reflect in his chest. When will he meet the person he loves and love him like that? And then the thought of Ken popped up again in his mind making Fang drink more than usual. Even more when he remembered Ken walking with the girl. The more it made Fang hurt in his chest and want to forget the picture and the painful feeling. Fang drank until he started to feel a little drunk.
