Fang froze a bit when he heard that. His expression showed that he was a little worried about Ken.

“so he went to go back to sleep at the resort. He looked quite sick too," One said. Fang took a deep breath.

“Oh,” Fang simply replied. Then he went to set up the store. After a while, Cha brought his mother and sister to the shop. Fang looked over and didn't find Ken.

"I'll help you sell the snacks too," said the young woman, smiling. Proud then brought a chair for Cha's mother to sit and rest. Both Cha and Cheese also came in to help sell.

// "You're not uncomfortable that Cha's mother and younger siblings help sell like this. If you're having trouble, tell me, Fang,"// Proud spoke to Fang with a deep sense of guilt because he was afraid that Fang would be dissatisfied. Fang smiled lightly.

// "It's okay, it's good. Someone help me sell it so I can just sit and count the money," // Fang joked. Proud then smiled back. Fang looked around for Ken again but didn't want to ask Cha about Ken's whereabouts. Fang looked at Cha, who was helping Proud pickup everything as Proud instructed, with a deep envious feeling. But he was happy for his friends as well. Fang let other people sell snacks while he went to take care of things at the back of the shop.

📳 Tring... Tring... Tring

Cha's cell phone rang. He pressed to answer the call.

📞 "What's up, Ken?" Cha's voice answered the call causing Fang to halt a bit. But he did not show any signs that would tell he was curious. Although in his heart, he was interested in the conversation between Ken and Cha.

📞"Well, I'm at Proud and Fang's shop...... I think you should sleep. Why are you here?" Cha's voice made Fang's mouth slightly twitch.

📞“Ken, you are in a very bad condition, do you know that? ...He won't run away from you anywhere. You need to sleep and take proper rest for a night at least. Believe me..." Cha tried to convince his friend. But Fang did not know what Ken replied to Cha. Because Cha hung up soon after talking for a little while.

"Did your friend call?" Proud asked. Fang stood and listened quietly.

“Um, he is quite sick but stubborn too. He is coming here,” Cha complained. But he didn't say anything to make his friend uncomfortable. After a while, Fang had to frown when he saw Ken sitting on the back of a motorcycle parked at the corner of the road. After paying the driver, Ken walked into Fang's store with a pale face. His hand was still wrapped in bandages. Ken looked at Fang with pleading eyes. Fang immediately avoided Ken's gaze.

“Ken, why did you come? I told you to lie down and rest," Cha immediately scolded when he saw his friend approaching him.

"I'm fine, I'm just a bit..." He couldn't finish before he coughed, Fang bit his lip until it hurt to remind himself not to look at Ken

"I also told you Ken to rest for a while. The weather is cold with dew drops falling, you should not be out here like this," Cha's mother warned worriedly.

“It's okay, Mom. Just have a little cough," Ken replied, causing Fang to be worried in his heart regarding Ken's health. Ken boasted that he was okay even though his face was as pale as paper.

"I'll go and sit at one of the restaurants," Ken said to Cha, but his eyes were on Fang. Ken didn't want Fang to think that he was tired of going after him to reconcile. Even if he were seriously ill on the verge of death he would come to reconcile with Fang.

"Oh, don't eat anything cold," Cha insisted. Ken nodded. He was still looking at Fang all the time. But Fang did not turn to meet Ken's eyes at all. Despite knowing that Ken was looking at him. Until Ken walked to one of the shops Fang glanced behind him.
