Chapter 25

Ken came up to his room and threw the cheque recklessly on the bed. He indeed wanted this money back from Fang at first. But now when he got the money back, he doesn't want it anymore.  Ken even wanted to throw it away.

“Uh, I'll go back first,” Cha walked over to tell his friend who sat crouching on the edge of the bed with a strained expression.

"Hmm," Ken replied lightly. At the moment, he wanted to be left alone.

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" Cha said again. Ken just nodded before Cha walked out of Ken's room.

📳 Tring... Tring... Tring!!

Ken's cell phone rang. He hurriedly picked it up to have a look because deep in his heart, he hoped that the person he was thinking of would have called, but it wasn't.

📞"What's up?" Ken answered his friend in a sluggish voice.

📞(“What's wrong? Did you just wake up?”) The other person asked back.

📞“No, what do you have, Stone?” Ken asked his friend back.

📞(“I called to say that I talked to those mercenaries. They are ready to take on the job. Are you still going to do that job?”) Stone asked to be sure. The job was to warn Taek not to come and trouble Fang again. But now Fang has left him. So he was deciding what to do next.

📞"Well, let's deal with it. I have sent you all the details already. He doesn't have to be dead or crippled. Just make him hurt the most and tell him if he doesn't stop messing with Fang. Next time, I will do it harder than this time,” Ken told his friend.

📞(“Um, okay, but why are you helping that Fang boy? Or does he have something you're addicted to?”) Stone asked with a light chuckle. It's like he knew what Ken was thinking.

📞"Call me and let me know what's going on," Ken cut the script and immediately hung up before sitting and thinking of the small figure that used to lie on this bed beside him. Ken raised his hand and rubbed his face lightly.

“Why would you think about him? He already wants to leave me. Plus, he owes me nothing any more," Ken asked and lectured himself as if he didn't care but his eyes turned tense.

After coming out of Ken's hotel, Niti then brought Fang to Tom's house. Fang has relieved his sobbing somewhat, but his eyes were still swollen and red. While driving back, Proud called to ask how it went. He said after he finishes running errands with his mom, he will come quickly to see him.

“Thank you so much, Phi Niti, for helping me with everything. ”

“It's okay, Fang.  I am willing to help you with everything,” Niti said as he lightly stroked Fang's hair.

“Can you be alone? Because I'm going to run some errands," Niti asked worriedly. Because Fang was at Tom's house alone. Fang's friend, Tom, went out to work.

“It's okay, he'll come soon," Fang said back, Niti smiled before leaving. Fang immediately entered the house. He sat down to search for information on houses for sale in Pai because he wanted to shift there. Fang wanted to get out of Bangkok as quickly as possible. He wanted to start all over again. Fang sat there looking for information and then sat idle for a while until Proud arrived.

"What are you doing?" Proud asked while walking towards his dear friend with a bag of snacks.

“Looking at houses to stay in Pai. This looks good. Let's help each other. We have to go there and see it for ourselves and make a decision again too," Fang told his friend. Proud came to sit and watch with Fang.
