Dreaming of a body goal so dear,
A beautiful shape, slender and clear,
Wondering when it can be achieved,
If meals remain beyond my reprieve.

People's glances, filled with disdain,
Mocking faces, causing inner pain,
For them, fat bodies hold no grace,
A habit of theirs, calling it a disgrace.

Silent moments, facing the mirror's gaze,
Disappointment's sting in countless ways,
Insecurity lingers amidst others' sight,
Eating much, yet weight clings so tight.

Pills are harmful, the path they take,
Supplements fail, results they fake,
Time to change, where should I start?
In this journey, the new me will depart
