Behind the smiles, a secret was spun,
A trusted one's betrayal, what they've done.
With someone we love, they've begun,
A tale of deception, under the sun.
Their promises like whispers in the breeze,
Yet lies were woven through each pleas.
Fractured bonds, like fallen leaves,
Betrayal's sting, a wound that cleaves.
Their words were honey, their acts sincere,
Yet in the shadows, a different veneer.
A bond we thought was strong and clear,
Betrayed by the truth we now hold near.
But we'll rise from this pain, stronger than before,
No longer blind to the games they explore.
In the face of betrayal, our hearts we'll restore,
Finding strength in love's light, forevermore.
For in the darkness of deceit and lies,
Our love's resilience will forever rise.
Though trust was broken, the sun will reprise,
Guiding us forward, where hope never dies.
