na'teya (you) is a 17 year old girl na'vi who turns 18 a month after lo'ak, she has two best friends ze'i and za'tary, she also becomes very close with tsireya and kiri.
her father is from the omaticaya clan and your mother is from the kekunan clan. she has similar characteristics to the omaticaya besides her larger fangs and better senses (sight, smell, hearing, taste).
she has long thin arms and legs to help her climb trees and swing across vines but also a nice long torso with darker blue strips going down from her head to the tip of her tail. she normally has her hair in braids like neytiri or she has it down and wavy on special occasion's.
na'teya is a complex character with many layers. on the surface, she is a strong, capable warrior who is fiercely loyal to her people. however, underneath this tough exterior lies a deep sense of grief and loss. na'teya has experienced a great deal of trauma in her life, from the death of her parents to the banishment from her clan. these experiences have left her with a deep sense of isolation and a reluctance to trust others.
despite her guarded nature, na'teya is a deeply compassionate person who cares deeply about the people around her. this is evident in her relationship with her brother ty'wren, who she loves and protects at all costs. it is also evident in her interactions with lo'ak, where she initially views him with suspicion but grows to care for deeply.
