Chapter 12: A day with Mermen

You slept peacefully in Kalims lap, even though everybody was awake. Kalim eventually fell asleep, so you woke up in his arms. Everybody looked tired as fu- but you let it go. Yawning, you lifted your head. You reached for your phone as attention was focused on you. You turned your phone on and looked at the others. "You guys do know its.." You looked back at your phone again, forgetting what you had learned just a moment ago. "2:47?" You asked. "Yeah."

"Alright.." You mumbled, fully sitting up. "What are you three doing anyways?" You asked. "You know, just painting our nails." Jamil said sarcasitically. You playfully punched his shoulder.

"Anyway, so I have a video- nevermind.." Ace said, turning his own phone off. You raised a brow but left it go.

5 HOURS LATER

You yawned as students started to slowly leave their rooms. "I need to call Mal.." You mumbled. You dialed his number knowing damn well he couldn't work a phone. [Hello? Aesira?]

[Mhm, I'll stop by the dorm later.]

[Ill inform the others.]

[Bye Mallie]

You hung up. "I'm going to go. I wouldn't want to leave Flyod waiting. Bye! Love you~" You teased as you left the building. To say the three were blushing was an understatement.

You slowly approached the dorm, barely 8:00. You strut into the dorm like you owned the place. "Twins~ Azul~" You cooed. Almost on cue, Floyd was doing what he did best; leeching. He was clinging to your side, careful not to touch the wound even though he knew it wouldn't hurt anymore. You patted his head. "Little eel." You chuckled.

Jade soon appeared. "Ah, Betta." He said, bowing as he took your hand and kissed it. "How are you doing?" he looked up to you, still barely bowing. "I- uhm- haha- I, good!" You said, snatching your hand back with a blush on your face, clearly flustered.

Floyd pouted as he wasn't getting attention. You patted his head again and smiled. Immediately, he eased up.

"Do you not worship your brother enough~" you asked Jade. "No, I don't worship him at all."

"Wow. Poor baby Floyd~" Floyd, being who he is, played along. "Mhm~" he pouted, acting sad. Jade knew it was a tease so he just chuckled. "Alright, what do we want to do today?" You asked them.

"Go get some treats~" Floyd stated. Chuckling once again, Jade nodded. "Sweets, please." You nodded. "Does Azul want to come?"

"Hehe, I'll go get him~"

Azul eventually came out of his borrow: his office. "Ah, Aesira!" Azul said, doing exactly what Jade did before. He grabbed your hand and kissed it as he bowed. "I, uh, uhm.. I-" you were really flustered, so you snatched your hand back. It worked every time.

"Let's get going, shall we?" Azul stated. Everyone else nodded and began following him to Sam's to get sweets.

The door to the store opened, revealing you four. "Ah! It isn't every day I get to see you, Aesira. Hello, you four." You smiled at him while Jade went to go talk to him.

The more mischievous twin took your hand and began scouring for sweet treats. "There's some Floyd." You looked at him with a smile.

It was a simple little treat: a small box of peppermint. "Hehehe~" he embraced you in a really tight hug. "Flyo-" you could barely talk.

"Betta~"

"Aesira!" A boy with flaming hair yelled to you, making Flyod annoyed. "Hm? Ortho?" Floyd let you go, allowing you to think straight.

"I'm so happy to see you! How have you been?" He asked you. Giggling, you responded. "I'm well! You and Idia?"

"Hehe, I'm good! Big brother Idia is just lonely."

Floyd seemed a bit jealous, but you left it be. "I'll stop by him tomorrow, okay?"

With a smile, Ortho left. "Floyd?" You looked up at him.

YOUR PERSPECTIVE

He groggiled, clearly agitated. "Are you okay?" I asked, a bit more hesitant. "Yeah, fine betta.." he picked up the box and paid for it at the counter. Jade and Azul raised a brow at me, but I just shrugged. "What happened?" Jade asked with a whisper. We were walking back now, and it was complete silence. "He was hugging me, and Ortho saw me, so he started to talk. Floyd let go, and after Ortho left, he seemed a bit.. annoyed."

Jade nodded. "It'll be fine.. just hug him, and he'll be alright again." I looked at him with worry glistening in my eye. "You sure?"

"Positive." 'Okay..'

Once we reached the dorm, Floyd started walking to his room. "Floyd." I walked to him. Hugging him, I asked if he was alright. "Mhm~" he said, patting my head. 'Thank you, Jade.'

"I'll be leaving. Thanks for letting me hang out." Azul smirked at me. "Of course. Oh- I have a proposal."

"And that isss?"

"Let me have your unique magic."

Eyeing him, I shook my head now. "You don't even know what it is."

"Well, you have a very beautiful voice that you sing with. Almost that of a siren."

My eyes widened, soon becoming glossy. Azul and Jade saw that and filled with worry. "Hey, hey! What's wro-"

"How do you know?" I asked, completely serious. "Ace took a video." My mouth went agape, but soon turned into a fake smile. Chuckling, I waved bye. "Bye~"

'Oh my fucking seven I'm going to kill Ace that BASTARD! I can't let anyone know, I could seriously hurt someone. I'm not going back. I'm not!' Before I knew it, I was infront of Heartsylabul dorm. I dialed Lilia.

[Lil..]

[Yeah, Aesira?]

[ I'll be later than usual. I'm dealing with something important right now.]

[Okay, just be safe. When do you think you will be home?]

[It's 2:32.. 3.]

[Okay, bye!] He hung up the phone.

I walked up to the door, sighing and telling myself not to kill him once I saw him. I knocked once, twice, and three times. Riddle opened the door. "Hm? Aesira? Have you come to visit? If I knew I would have prepared."

"Riddle.." I looked at him, my eyes saying everything. "Come in." Ace, Deuce, Trey, and Cater were sitting in the lounge area.

"Oh, hey- what happened?" Trey said, concerned.

"Ask of your dormmates." I said, putting one of my hands on my hip. "Damn, you look pissed." Cater remarked. "Does anyone know what happened?" Riddle asked, obviously expected an answer.

Everyone could see my expression. I was furious beyond what they would usually see.

"I am fuc- thoroughly disappointed in you, Trappola."
