T- okay I'm all ears

A- well when we first moved y/n was 7 and I was 9. And we kept moving every two years or so. Sometimes even sooner. We would never get a big house like this unless we were staying for a long time, so when we got here, we knew it would be a long stay.

A- to everyone else we always seemed like the perfect family. Happy, financially stable, lovely family. Everyone thought we had it all. Then when my parents split people, of course, had their opinions, they would even go as far to ask y/n and I what was happening because they thought we would be too naive to know not to tell them. When ma heard this she didn't let us out of the house and told us we were moving. She gave pa the option to either move with us or not see us for a while. He chose to came with us. And that's how it's been all the time. Ma hears something slightly off or that we're having trouble and instantly goes into flight mode. The closest we ever got to a real home was back in Texas where y/n made a proper friend, Halle. Y/n has only ever had one boyfriend, in 9th grade, but found out Halle was hooking up with him. She had also gone as far as to spread videos that she had recorded when ma or pa got a bit violent, and posted them everywhere. Y/n and I tried to keep it secret but ma found out through some coworkers and that night we were packing. Her and pa found a job here, and it was also close to a few of the auditions that y/n had possibly booked, so they instantly chose North Carolina.

T- what do you mean when they got violent? 

A- mami and pa are good parents. And the really do want the best for us but sometimes they take it too far. 

T- like.  how?

A - they get physical. Y/n always had it worse than me because I leant how to trick them. I knew house to always get pretty perfect scores or how to always have my room clean, when they came down. But y/n was too young when it started and didn't understand. Mami is usually verbal with her attacks. She makes all different comments and remarks about y/n's body, weight, school, grade, friends, looks, cleanliness,how she dresses what she eats, everything. Pa gets mad because he gets stressed out and gets physical. I usually take the punches for her when I can or when I hear them fighting I go and step in between them. 

T- so that's why she's so much calmer when there not around. And why she told me not to come over until your parents were gone. 

A- yeah. I had a pretty normal childhood, because it didn't really start until they started getting more busy and more stressed, but y/n, she never goes out or has many friends so when Halle came along, she was the 'perfect' friend that ma had in mind for y/n. She turned out to be a backstabbing bitch though. 

T- well you and y/n and Lani are always welcome at my house, your parents seem to like me. And my friends and y/n have already met so that's good. 

A- yeah, except we're using the excuse of 'Tristan is andres friend' so y/n doesn't get in trouble. Pa hates when y/n is with any boy. But he seems to trust you.

T- yeah well you guys are welcome anytime. You know that?

A- thanks man

T- all good. Now let's watch that movie you were talking about, it?

A- I can't believe you still haven't watched it. It's been out for YEARS!

A- yeah it's my favourite

A- do you hear that

T- stop playing with me

A- no seriously someone's knocking I'll call y/n and see if she knows anything

A- shit someone is still in a bad mood

Y/n - I wonder why? 

A - I said I'm sorry 

Y/n - mhm. What do you need?

A- is there someone knocking 

Y/n- stop trying to scare me

T- SEE EVEN Y/N THINKS THAT!

a- seriously, can you please check. 

Y/n - yeah I'll text you if there is you baby.
