I missed you.

I had been walking for 5 minutes and I was still about 3 miles away from school (for people who use kilometres, that's about 4.8 km).  I saw jaden driving past. He pulled up next me.

Jad- come on. You really think I wouldn't  wake up right after you got up. Get in, I'll take you to school

Y/n- thanks. 

I hopped in and he looked at me

Jad- so why did you leave so quickly?

Y/n- I've got school. Don't you too?

Jad- yeah but I have to skip sometimes for baseball. 

Y/n- oh

Jad- don't you want to go home and change?

Y/n- I really don't care if anyone notices that I'm in the same clothes to be completely honest. 

Jad- well if you want anything, I think Jayla leaves some stuff in the back of my car for when she drives with me.

I looked around and found a heap of make up. I didn't need a heap, cause the bruises had settled down and they could barely be seen. I just put on some mascara, blush and lip balm. 

Y/n- thanks. 

Jad- that's all good. 

Y/n- where'd you sleep last night? I noticed you weren't in the room. I thought you must have been awake?

Jad- oh, no I was in the room. I was just covered by a blanket and I was sleeping on the couch. 

Y/n- god, I'm sorry. I didn't want to kick you out of your own room!

Jad- seriously it's fine. The couch is comfy and I just didn't want to make you uncomfortable. 

Y/n- thank you. Anyways we are here now. 

Jad- hey, before you go, I noticed the bruises. 

Y/n- oh it's nothing. 

Jad- y/n Is someone hurting you?

I couldnt have another person knowing. We couldn't move again 

Y/n- no I promise. It's seriously nothing. My brother and I throw shit at eachother all the time. Thanks for the ride.

Jad- no problem. I'm going to be at the field again today by the way in case you want to come over this afternoon. 

Y/n- okay. I'll see how the day goes, bye!

Jad- bye

As I got in I saw maddy and mason walking around. I put my hoodie up and walked to class, making sure to sit in the back.

I looked up as the lesson started and got through 4 more classes without being noticed. I just ate in the alley outside and didn't go to my locker. I saw the whole group standing at my locker. Obviously waiting for me. I just couldn't be bothered going up to them. After all, they couldn't be bothered telling me who they were. As I was eating out side, I decided that I didn't want to go to my next class. There was too much of a risk since Miguel, mason and Jacob were in that class. I just walked to the nearest petrol station and sat in there. I took out a book and started reading. I felt my phone in my pocket ringing and ignored it. After another hour of reading I looked at my phone. School would be done now. I wasn't in the mood to go home, or go to the field. So I went back to school. The janitor was still there, but other than That no one else was. I climbed up the ladder that had been forgotten and sat on the roof. As the sun began go set overtime, i lay on the roof, and stared at the soon to be dark sky. I got a call. I answered it

A- I traced your location. I'm in the car park. Get in the car y/n. 

Y/n- why, I'm enjoying being here. Without all the people. Without all the screaming. Without all the lies. Without my abusive mom. 

A- y/n I know you're struggling but I need you to come home. Mamí and pa have gone on a holiday somewhere like 4 hours away, and they're gone for 7 days. Please come with me. 

Y/n- only if you promise that the group won't come into my room at all.

A- I'll make it very clear. Please, y/n. 

I hung up and walked over to the car after climbing down the ladder. 

He hopped out of the car before I could open the door and hugged me. I instantly melted into his arms. 

A- I missed you.
