The teacher was dismissing the class to lunch so it was a perfect time to go to see the secretary. But first I had to call my manager back. 

Y/n- hi Emily

E- hey so I have some bad news

Y/n- is it what I think it's about?

E- if you're talking about that Scott derrickson movie then yeah.

Y/n- ok shit, what happened

E- well

Y/n- just give it to me straight. Better than avoiding the truth

E- can you FaceTime

Y/n- yeah hold on let me go outside away from these stinky ass kids

I walked out side and went into an alley where no one was

Y/n- okay can you see me

E- yep soooo 

Y/n- emmmm come on!

E- well you didn't get the role you auditioned for. I'm sorry y/n 

Y/n- it's all good, there will be more opportunities, I was just so excited. To work with Scott derrickson! That is my dream. Wait where are you?

E- you got a role

Y/n  - do you mean a background actor?

E- no a role

Y/n- come on I didn't audition for anything else, don't play with me

E- I'm not! I swear! Hey he can even tell you 

Y/n- who ca- HOLY SHIT IS THAT SCOTT DERRICKSON?!!

E- yes y/n, he can tell you all about it. 

S- hi y/n, so we know you auditioned for Gwen's friend but we had another girl perfect for that role, but we couldn't let you go. So you're going to play the female lead, rose, finneys new love interest. 

Y/n- omg thankyou so much. I can't actually believe I'm talking to you right now. Is there a certain time i need to talk to you or meet up with someone to talk about the filming times?

E- I'll be giving you all those details later. For now just celebrate. 

Y/n- OKAYYYY! thank you so much! 

E- bye!

The phone call ended and all I wanted to do was go to the shops and treat myself. But I had someone to meet first. 

I walked into the office and asked for miss carter. I walked into her office and saw her eating lollies. 

Y/n- hi! I thought I'd come tell you some news miss carter 

K- please call me k.c

Y/n - well k.c I just got a big role!

K- what do you mean big role?

Y/n- well I'm an actor. I've had other roles but nothing as big as this. And the best part is I'm working for THE Scott derrickson 

K- wait the black phone?

Y/n- it's called- wait how'd you know? 

K- some of the kids we in it, so there's a second one?

Yn- yeah 

I was still confused. Black phone was a pretty big movie so could it be possible that the people everyone was cheering for were my new cast members?

Y/n - wait who?

K- wait you didn't know? Shit I thought you were playing with me,

Y/n- why should I do that?

K- cause you hang out with them

Y/n- WHAT

K- yeah, I think the kid I saw you in the hallways with, giving you a bag was the main character

Y/n- you mean mason!

I got up.

I had to clear my head

I got in andres car and drove to the mall. I did some shopping and then got something to eat. I remembered I had a baseball diamond down the road near my house, so I went there.
