I hate moving, I always have. I hate it because I leave all my friends behind but then again sometimes its for the best because you find out who your real friends are.
I was finishing packing the last few boxes of my stuff before we loaded them into the truck and said goodbye to the house.
We hopped in the taxi and made way to the airport.it was dark outside, about 8 pm. After we arrived, ma checked in and got our tickets. We went through the baggage checks and then sat down. Dad wen to get food while mum went to get some magazines for the plane ride.

M - Andre how dare you, y/n has the chance to follow her dreams, so of course we were going to help her. We would do the same for any of you. So please don't take it out on her.

That's what I loved about ma. She's always been the peace keeper. Even after her and dad split up, she was always so calm. No matter the situation she would be the one to calm everyone. I knew not to listen to Andre when he was like this, so instead I focused on my little sister. She was playing with her shoe that she had managed to slip off her foot, so I went over and put it back on, and just played with her until it was time to board the plane.
Dad handed our tickets to us. Ma, dad and Leilani were together, Andre was up the front of the plane I was near the back.
There was an older woman next to me on the flight. As I was going through some of my school work she talked up.
Lady - you look very busy with your work
Y/n- yeah, we are moving to North Carolina so I had to catch up on some work they sent me before I arrive
L- well you seem like a very responsible young lady. Where are you moving from?
Y/n - Texas, yeah. What about you, why are you flying?
L- my daughter and her kids live in North Carolina, and I haven't seen her in a while so I'm visiting them. Would you like to see a picture
