Abhimanyu's POV

She was asleep, it was my luck that she facing me. I still couldn't believe what happened today. That she's mine now. My wife. Mrs. Aradhya Abhimanyu Singhania. My name suited hers. I still have chills thinking what would have Ashutosh Sinha done if hadn't intervened.

That man was basically finding a bidder for her daughter. I was there when she came downstairs asking about her fiance, I didn't like how they treated her. Neither her father nor her fiance. After she left, her father started arguing with the Chibs for breaking the deal. That's what his daughter's marriage was to him, a deal. I couldn't hear more as he asked them to bring their son back and complete the wedding.

How could he? Was he blind? Couldn't he see that her fiance didn't want this marriage, how could he have kept her happy if he wasn't happy. So I knew what I had to do. I backed off when I learned she had a fiance but now that it was out of question, I had to do what I wanted. Make her mine, so i did it.

Offered a deal to Sinha and he agreed like he was doing a much awaited bargain. I didn't want to marry her like this. Dad stopped me, he said that its wrong but he knew too, I can't lose her again. It had been a year since I last saw her and she looked even more beautiful than last time. The lehnga looked good on her, at least Sinha did one thing correct. But I didn't like that the person for whom she got ready wasn't me. If I knew she was his daughter I would've married her a long time ago. Mom was worried but happy when I told her the news. She said to bring her daughter directly to her home. Daughter, hah, my mom refused to call her anything other than that.

After talking to dad I decided to call mom. She picked it after the third ring, " Hello Abhi. "

"Hey mom" I wanted my voice to sound like there was nothing but she's mom, she know everytime.

"What happened abhi? "

"Maa.. " She stayed silent, letting me calm myself. "She's here. "

And a gasp left her hearing me. " Are you sure Abhi? "

"Yes maa, but. "

"But what bache? "

" She's getting married. Her fiance left her and her father's an asshole who just wants his profit. He's still asking that man to marry her. "

"What did you do abhi? " She knew, she always knows before me saying it.

" I made a deal with her father. He thought he was getting rid of a burden. "

"Are you sure? "

"Yes maa. I can't lose her again. "
"Then bring my daughter back to me. "

"Yes mom. "

"Now go and get to work. I'll make the arrangements here. "

Present time.

Shaking off my thoughts I welcomed sleep knowing that she'll be here in the morning too and I have my whole life to watch her.

When I woke up she was still asleep, glancing at my phone it was 5 a.m. just as I was thinking about whether to wake her or not Mom knocked on the door. " Abhi, wake up bache. "

Seeing as she was fidgeting I knew she was awake, so I decided to open the door. "Good morning abhi. Is she awake? "

"With how loud you knocked, the whole house must have woken up by now. " She pouted as if I said something wrong. Believe me she still behaves as a child sometimes.
"Whatever. You still have some rituals pending. Here take it and ask her to get ready. " That's when I saw the box in her hand. As she shoved it in hand I asked, "What's this mom? "
