Aradhya's POV
It has been a week since we went to get my things, and all that ever happened during this week was him holding me in sleep rather than just staying on his side.
He did it gradually, not out of the blue but he moved a bit closer everyday till he was near me. He held my hand first and I couldn't muster any words of protest, that was enough of a permission for him.Everyone thinks I work in some company online and I don't mind them believing that. The media had somewhat cooled down on the V Beauty's matter. Ashutosh Sinha claimed that it happened by accident and was not intentional. He pulled some strings but he stopped them from getting dragged to court. He still has some backbone. But as much as he tried, V beauty was banned, boycotted by people itself so the authorities had to close it down. Vartika Sinha has been incognito the whole week, while she used to make an appearance every second day before, this time she has been locked in her house. Well that must be torture for a social butterfly like her.

I kept my phone back after replying to his message and got to work, I still need some more evidence to completely shake them. And the progress so far has been too slow.
This evening they'll get their second gift, bhavana had always liked to compete with vartika and I can't make her loose in this race too right?Author's POV
Main office, Singhania Industries.
" Bhai, something happened again. " Rudraksh came to his brother's office while holding his laptop.
" What's wrong? " Abhimanyu asked his brother without looking up from his computer screen, busy with something." The boutique that bhavana sinha owns, it was reported for plagiarizing the designs of some other designer. " Rudraksh told his brother who finally removed his gaze from his computer.
" Who did it? " He had abhimanyu's attention now. He was looking straight at his brother.
" No idea. It was unanimously, but it's true. The proofs the other party presented are too reliable. " Abhimanyu remained silent as if pondering over something. Receiving no reply from his brother Rudraksh told him his guess, " What do you think is going on bhai? Is someone targeting them? "
" I don't know. " Abhimanyu said with a sigh, his fingers tapping on the table in a rhythmic motion.
" Should we interfere bhai? " Rudraksh asked him, to know whether they should help the Sinhas.
" No. Don't. " Abhimanyu replied with a jerk, he had a feeling that this was related to his wife and she wouldn't want them to interfere." You should go and do your work. Don't bother about the Sinhas. "
Rudraksh wanted to say something but thought better of it.
" Okay bhai. " Saying these words he left the office while abhimanyu thought about the things going on.He picked up his phone and decided to call his wife, she picked up after four rings, " Hello. " Abhimanyu relaxed on his chair after hearing her voice. She always soothes him.
" What were you doing? "
" Umm, working? " She replied with an answer that sounded like a question, he chuckled at her words.
" Are you okay? "
" Yeah, what would happen to me. "
" Good then. " They remained silent for a while before she asked him, " Why did you call? "
" Do I need a reason to call my wife? " They were taking time but he still said things like this and there on the other side of the phone, she was confused by the effect his words were having on her.
" I missed you. " As if his previous words weren't enough to get her mind off things, these definitely did the work.
" You just left in the morning. " She tried to downplay his words, sometimes she gets overwhelmed by the attention he gives her, with how much he makes her feel.
