Aradhya's POV

We left the hotel at 6 in the evening and decided to forgo the car.
He had picked the hotel quite close to the tower, so we just decided to walk while enjoying the streets.

I was wearing a cream coloured dress that reached just below my knees, and an overcoat along with it. He was the one who packed it and most of the clothes are like this, I have to admit that he packed it with care.

While my husband was wearing a cream turtleneck, with black pants. One hand in his pocket and the other holding me.

We walked around for an hour before we finally saw the Eiffel Tower. It looked majestic even from a distance, the sun was on its way down, but the lights were still off. The weather wasn't exactly cold nor warm.

We must've been a few hundred metres away from it when he stopped, " What's wrong? "
" Let's have dinner first. "
I blinked at him, I thought we came early to reach there before sunset but if he wants to eat first then there's nothing wrong with it.
And it just happened that there was a restaurant just ahead of us.

He ordered their signature dishes before ordering some red wine and all I could do was notice how hot he looked while speaking French. I had confidence in my accent, but his, his was the one that could make you weak in your knees.

Our little session in the car had messed with me so much. It took a lot of effort for me to calm down, to convince myself not to pounce on him in the car itself.

" Qu'est ce que tu regardes? " I didn't even realise how long I had been staring at him until he said it.

' What are you looking at? '

" toi " I replied back. And he blushed, not like his cheeks turned red and all but just the tips of his ears.
' You. '

" ne me séduis pas mon amour. " He answered and I looked away. We were sitting by the window, and even though all I could see was the street we had been walking on, it looked fabulous.

The lights were on now, the sun completely gone from the horizon, the couples walking on the street, holding each other, some even kissing each other. The vendors, selling flowers or souvenirs for people to take with them. All kinds of people, be it of whatever nationality or colour or religion, everyone was here for just one reason, to visit the city of love.

' Don't seduce me love. '

" Je ne fais rien. " I answered not looking at him, it's like he gets seduced even when I do nothing and an argument would get me nowhere cuz I don't know how to answer his glib statements.
' I'm not doing anything. '

Dinner arrived soon after and he stopped the waiter from serving, " nous le ferons nous-mêmes "

' We'll do it ourselves. '

I never liked alcohol much, it had the tendency to numb a person, and I don't like that feeling. I had always wanted to feel it all, so that I can return it all.

But seeing him relish in it, while pouring some for me, I couldn't deny him.
So I took a sip of it, the sweet and bitter taste melded perfectly.

It didn't take us much longer to finish everything and I might not admit it but I was tipsy for sure. I wouldn't have had so much on my first try if it wasn't him who was with me. But when he's here, then I don't need to have any inhibitions.

We walked out and thankfully I didn't wobble, that would've been embarrassing. The night had completely fallen and simultaneously the tower was completely lit.
