My slumber was interrupted by loud crashing sounds. King Letum, shot up from his rest, put on his clothes as quickly as he could, and went outside with his troops. That was around 10 minutes ago and I am now worried.I slipped on a simple white gown, the type that the village women wear to go get food in the markets for the week.
Ran down the hallway and followed the pass to the outside. Right in front of my eyes, I saw millions of soldiers, dead bodies lying on the floor.
I drew in a breath of air, trying to seem unfazed and scan the crowd to look for Letum.
There, in the middle of the bodies, I saw him, standing. Immediately without hesitation, I ran to be by his side.
Huge mistake.
Just then miles seemed to appear out of thin air, and grab me. He was quick, but Letum was quicker.
Letum grabbed onto me, and we were both teleported to a place, burning with fire and flames.
a wave of darkness washed over me. The screams echoed relentlessly, piercing my soul with despair. The air burned with an intensity that seemed to sear away all hope.
The landscape, void of life or beauty, only held barrenness and desolation. My heart sank as I realized the weight of regret and guilt that burdened these tortured souls. They were trapped, reliving their darkest moments, without respite or forgiveness.
Loneliness engulfed me, suffocating any chance of solace or companionship. In this nightmarish existence, isolation was the only company I had. It felt like an eternity, a constant reminder of our past sins and the consequences we must face.
But even in this dire place, I clung to a flicker of hope that Letum would be rid of Miles, right here.
"Now," Miles began, his white eyes pierced me, and his snow colored hair seemed to illuminate him. " it seems you could've told her anytime now... how curious~" he purred, still failing to lose his flirtatious demeanor.
Letum spared me one pitiful glance, before directing his full attention to Miles. "Leave her out of this. You will regret this- if you don't leave, your head will hang above my fire place."
"Aww~ that's no way to speak to an old friend is it? Especially not one that saved your life." He laughed, licking his lips with a pink tongue.
What is he even talking about? Surely there's nothing I don't know about...
"Now no-" Miles stops his taunting as soon as his eyes land on my bulging pregnant belly.
"No certainly not it can't be" he says, daring a couple, more steps forward.
He comes as close to me as it's physically possible and caresses the bump on my stomach. I left in my hand and punched him i I lifted my hand and punched him In the face. "You disgust me" I said, looking at the face I once found nobel.
As I expected, he couldn't take no for an answer, "It seems you are to be my wife. I guess I will only eat your companions delectable soul~" he wrapped his arms around me, and I couldn't move.
He faced his back towards Letum, and looked me up and down.I would be lying if I said he didn't look genuinely happy that I carried his child.
A moment of his devoted attention was all I needed, and exactly what I got. Letum snuck up behind him, and punctured his blade through his neck, severing his head from his body. As soon as his head dropped to the floor, King Letum poured black liquid on his body, and set fire to it. Screams shortly turned to nothing, and then turned to ash.
It was over. but there were still so many things that I didn't understand.
"What have you been hiding from me?"
I demanded Letum, feeling pleased after seeing Miles meet his demise at my feet.......
