Steven had set up the telescope in the balcony in his flat, placing it near where the moon was shining down upon you guys.
The London clear sky was a midnight blue, nearly clear of car smog. It almost seemed as if the goddess Nut had prepared the night for you both.
As you brought out the two cold brewed teas, you snuggled within your stripped cardigan. It wasn't a chilly night but it definitely was a comfortable one.
"Give me just a moment love, I want to adjust the lenses so you can see Venus tonight. Apparently it's in Leo, which I'm not what it means but I get it looks gorgeous". He said enthusiastically.
You smiled and took a sip of your cup as you watched your lovely Steven adjusting the lenses. How beautiful this hands were careful with each part of the telescope.
Steven was treating it with so much care and delicatessen. Steven would never admit it out loud, but he was treating it with as much love he has for you.
Steven stepped back and smiled "et voila! You can see it for yourself now madame." He said with an eager smile, you bowed at his magical skills and thanked him.
You placed your mug down, and leaned close to the lenses. You let out a quiet gasp, you couldn't believe what you were seeing.
"Steven! No way! I can faintly see The Jewel Box, and if I move it a bit more to the left I can see the Pleiades and to my right I can see our precious moon in her Waning Crescent phase. Steven you have to check this out!" You can exclaimed happily.
But Steven didn't need a telescope to see the beauty of the world. He had his, right in front of him fascinated by other stars and wonders of the universe that it had to offer.
You felt Steven too quiet, so you turned to him. You caught him staring you with his doe brown soft eyes. You smiled as you said
"Do you want to give it a try my love?" You asked softly but Steven replied with rosy cheeks
"une étoile sur un milliard et j'ai eu la chance d'être avec vous dans la même galaxie. »
You didn't understand French to that level but you felt your heart skip a beat. Any language that he spoke, you knew it was something to allow you to fall more for him.
You took one step away from the telescope, and got near him.
You placed your hands onto his chest, just melting under him and his sweet presence, you pecked his lips and as you pulled away you asked
"What did you say in French my love?"
Steven chuckled as he slightly bit his bottom lip "I'll tell you later, I want to look for Orion's Belt with you, first."
You happily agreed, and the two of you went back to the telescope. Steven held your back close to his chest, as the two of you enjoy what the night could offer.
